Hi Sarah,

Thank you for your comment and encouragement =) you are right, I think as long as no person becomes sinful or more important than God, that is the number one thing to focus on. Thank you also for reading my devotionals! God bless!

Hi, I'm sarah from WA. I love your devotionals and they actually give me peace and light to my day.
There's also a reminder I would like to share I once heard from my pastor. He was wondering and pressing on God, like you, if his wife was the one. because he was about to propose, but wanted an answer from God first. Then God asked him, do you want to marry her, for her to be your wife?
And at that moment he realized what God was telling him and he realized that God loves us and for the same reason he died on the cross, lets us choose our ourselves. If two people are united christ and in love, because he loves us, he lets us make choices that bring joy to our hearts, which also brings him joy. It is so that he wants us to give up a lot of our time that we have to be with him in prayer and quiet time, but we also need to remember that whatever we do in life that brings us joy-as long as no person or activity becomes sinful or more important than him, will also bring our father joy. So I don't think there is a right or wrong person to marry because God gives us that choice. And trust God on that journey that he will flourish within that marriage.
