										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>What is Passover, and how does it relate to my life today? Learn the meaning of the Passover and how the Passover points to Jesus. Find<em> freedom in Christ</em> this Holy Week.</p>
<p>For the longest time, I was bound by fear. My emotions and need to control were rooted in my fears. But praise God, through being rooted in God’s truth and love, I found His love <em>perfecting me</em> to a place where fear no longer has a stronghold in my life.</p>
<p>I went through a process of healing as I encountered the love of Jesus. As I sought Jesus and came to Him in my pain, the Lord perfected me by His love and cast out fear.</p>
<p><em>That&#8217;s when I found true freedom</em>.</p>
<p>Jesus says in John 8:36, “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” There is freedom in Christ, and His perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18).</p>
<p>There is no way we can experience freedom when we are bound by sin. Fear, lust, anger, unforgiveness, selfish ambition, and jealousy are forms of sin.</p>
<p>Maybe your struggle is not with fear, but whatever your struggles may be, know there is freedom as we surrender our lives to Jesus and encounter God’s love.</p>
<p>As we approach Holy Week and Easter (Resurrection Sunday), I want us to reflect on the passion of the Lord, His immense love for us, and how the Passover beautifully points to Jesus as the Lamb of God, who sets us free from the bondage of sin.</p>
<h2>What is Passover?</h2>
<p>The Passover meal is first mentioned in Exodus 12.</p>
<p>Exodus 12:1-11 says, “Now the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, “This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you. Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying: ‘On the tenth of this month every man shall take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household. And if the household is too small for the lamb, let him and his neighbor next to his house take it according to the number of the persons; according to each man’s need you shall make your count for the lamb. Now you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month. Then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at twilight. And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it. Then they shall eat the flesh on that night; roasted in fire, with unleavened bread and with bitter herbs they shall eat it. Do not eat it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roasted in fire—its head with its legs and its entrails. You shall let none of it remain until morning, and what remains of it until morning you shall burn with fire. And thus you shall eat it: with a belt on your waist, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. So you shall eat it in haste. It is the Lord’s Passover.&#8221;</p>
<p>God continues to explain why it&#8217;s called the Passover meal in Exodus 12:12-14, which says, “For I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment. I am the Lord. Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. <strong>And when I see the blood, I will pass over you</strong>; <strong>and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt</strong>. So this day shall be to you a memorial; and you shall keep it as a feast to the Lord throughout your generations. You shall keep it as a feast by an everlasting ordinance.&#8221;</p>
<p>The Passover meal was meant for the Israelites to remember God&#8217;s mercy upon them because of the blood of the lamb that protects them from God&#8217;s judgment. The purpose of the Passover meal was to be a foreshadowing of Jesus, the ultimate spotless lamb of God, who shed His blood for us to save us from God&#8217;s judgment.</p>
<p>God instructed the Israelites to find a lamb without blemish, a perfect, spotless lamb. Only Jesus can be the spotless lamb because He is God, which makes Him perfect.</p>
<p>The Passover meal is a powerful meal that now points us to Jesus.</p>
<p>Now we get access to Salvation by faith, as we believe Jesus to be our Lord and Savior and follow Him. We get to abide in the shadow of the almighty God as we dwell in the secret place of the Most High (Psalm 91:1).</p>
<h2>Egypt as a Symbol of Bondage</h2>
<p>During this time, the Israelites were enslaved in Egypt. Egypt represents bondage, sin. The Bible tells us that sin leads to death, and when we are overcome by sin, we live in bondage, not freedom.</p>
<p>Often, we mistakenly believe that following Jesus restricts our freedom because of the rules we have to follow. However, these rules are designed to protect us. Think of a roller coaster. Roller Coasters are designed with parameters and boundaries to ensure a safe and enjoyable ride.</p>
<p><strong>God&#8217;s rules and boundaries aren&#8217;t restrictions, but rather guidelines that set us up to enjoy life with freedom.</strong></p>
<p>When we are trapped in sin, like the Israelites were in Egypt, we are not truly free. Moses was a foreshadowing of Jesus, who leads us out of bondage (Egypt) into freedom and everlasting life. We now have freedom because Jesus died on the cross for us, redeeming us by making us right with God through the shedding of His blood.</p>
<h2>Abundant Life in Christ</h2>
<p>John 10:10 is one of my favorite verses. Jesus says, &#8220;The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.&#8221;</p>
<p>When you&#8217;re bound by sin, you&#8217;re not free. Addiction is an example. Whether it&#8217;s pornography, drugs, or alcohol, addiction causes you to be bound to practicing certain behaviors. That&#8217;s not freedom.</p>
<p>But Jesus came to set us free. In Jesus Christ, we are set free to live the holy and righteous life that He called us to live.</p>
<p>Jesus has his last supper, the Passover meal with his disciples. Luke 22:14-20 says, &#8220;When the hour came, Jesus and his apostles reclined at the table. And he said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it finds fulfillment in the kingdom of God.” After taking the cup, he gave thanks and said, “Take this and divide it among you. For I tell you I will not drink again from the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.” And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.&#8221;</p>
<p>Jesus made a new covenant, in what we now call communion, where we no longer have to sacrifice animals for our redemption (being made right with God), but instead, we get to look to Jesus, who is the ultimate lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world (John 1:29). Jesus also chose to die during Passover, when lambs were also being slaughtered (Luke 22:7-8).</p>
<p>Jesus shed His blood for us, died, and on the 3rd day, He rose from the grave. Jesus’s last words on the cross were, &#8220;It is finished!” (John 19:30).</p>
<p>Jesus finished the work for your freedom and your salvation.</p>
<p>When we accept Jesus into our lives and obey Him, we receive the gift of eternal life.<em> Will you give your life to Jesus and follow Him daily? What is distracting you from following Jesus? Are there sin patterns you are tolerating that are preventing you from experiencing the freedom Jesus died for you to have?</em></p>
<p>Look to Jesus and invite Him to reveal Himself to you. Jesus is your passover lamb who is also alive. He is your redeemer. So remember,<strong> there is freedom in Christ</strong>.</p>
<p><strong>Prayer</strong>: <em>Jesus, reveal yourself to us as our Savior, the spotless lamb of God. I thank you, Jesus, for what you&#8217;ve done. We celebrate your resurrection. We celebrate you as our Savior and the freedom we have in You.</em></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p data-start="221" data-end="401">The bride of Christ is called to be pure and set apart from the world. A faithful bride only cares to be seen by her husband. Learn what it means to be <em>the bride of Christ</em>.</p>
<p data-start="403" data-end="500">I struggled with insecurity and thought being married would cure it. Marriage only made it worse.</p>
<p data-start="502" data-end="579">My husband struggled with lust and fell into pornography during our early years of marriage. I didn’t know how to love him back or myself. Now that I reflect on these years, I am not surprised that I was anxious and shaken.</p>
<p data-start="713" data-end="847">When our source of love is in the hands of imperfect people (we are all imperfect), our identity will be shaken, and we will be prone to having an insecure heart.</p>
<p data-start="849" data-end="981">If we want a perfect and whole heart, we need to be <strong>rooted in a love that is perfect</strong>. That perfect love can only come through Jesus.</p>
<p data-start="983" data-end="1075"><strong>God&#8217;s love alone is perfect </strong>and has the power to perfect us (<a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/114/1JN.2.5.NKJV" target="_blank" rel="noopener">1 John 2:5</a>).</p>
<p data-start="1077" data-end="1291">I had to learn and still am learning to be rooted in God&#8217;s love. The truth is, we can all have access to an intimate, deep love from our husband, Jesus, if we surrender our lives to Him and choose to seek Him.</p>
<p data-start="1293" data-end="1511">We can extend unconditional love to others when we actively receive the unconditional love Jesus has given us. We can only be secure in who we are when we have the revelation of how much we are loved and seen by Jesus.</p>
<h2 data-start="1293" data-end="1511">You are the Bride of Christ</h2>
<p data-start="1513" data-end="1603">Who is the bride of Christ? It is those who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Jesus desires that all of us be saved and become His bride (<a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/114/1TI.2.3.NKJV" target="_blank" rel="noopener">1 Timothy 2:3</a>). Jesus came down from heaven and put on flesh so that you and I could <em>be His</em>.</p>
<p data-start="1513" data-end="1603">Jesus did not die for some, <em><strong>but for all</strong></em>. But, we must accept Jesus as our Savior to be His. Saying yes to Jesus is like saying yes to a marriage. In order to be married to someone, we must first say yes, and agree to a covenant that includes being faithful and dying to ourselves to be one with our spouse.</p>
<p data-start="1513" data-end="1603">The concept of marriage is the same as our relationship with Jesus. This is why throughout the Bible, we see the church described as the bride of Christ.</p>
<p data-start="1513" data-end="1603">Revelation 19:7-9 says, &#8220;Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’ ”</p>
<p data-start="1513" data-end="1603">Jesus is coming back for His bride, which is you and I. There is a beautiful wedding supper of the Lamb that is being prepared for us.</p>
<p data-start="5164" data-end="5349">We are already married to Jesus when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior and choose to abide in Him, but our final marriage union with Jesus will be sealed when He comes back for us.</p>
<p data-start="5351" data-end="5518">In Jewish custom, a marriage was first sealed by betrothal, but the couple did not live together until a year later (once the groom had prepared a home for the bride).</p>
<p data-start="5520" data-end="5605">We are now betrothed to Jesus, but He is coming back to officiate our union with Him. Jesus purchased you with His blood, and He is expecting a pure and faithful bride when He comes back.</p>
<p data-start="5858" data-end="6081">You belong to Jesus. Just because you do not physically see Jesus does not mean you are not married to Him.</p>
<p data-start="1513" data-end="1603">We must understand that we are the bride of Christ so that we continue to keep ourselves unspotted from this world (James 1:27).  Jesus is coming back for a <em>pure bride</em>.</p>
<p data-start="1513" data-end="1603"><em>Will you say yes to Jesus? </em></p>
<h2 data-start="1513" data-end="1603">Jesus Loves You</h2>
<p data-start="1513" data-end="1603">Don&#8217;t believe the lie that Jesus does not love you. Many people have a problem with God&#8217;s judgment, questioning God&#8217;s love if hell exists.</p>
<p data-start="1513" data-end="1603">The truth is, we serve a righteous and holy God. God cannot fellowship with what is dark, because he is Light (John 1). But God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).</p>
<p data-start="1513" data-end="1603">God <em><strong>so</strong></em> loved the world, and He so loves you. This is why He sent Jesus to die on the cross, so that our sinful nature and sins could be washed away and we can be His bride. We don&#8217;t serve a dead Bridegroom, but a Bridegroom who is alive. Jesus rose on the 3rd day, and we are promised that the same Holy Spirit who raised Jesus from the grave would raise us up too to have eternal life (<a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/114/ROM.8.11.NKJV" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Romans 8:11</a>).</p>
<p data-start="1513" data-end="1603">Jesus loves you so much. In John 3:36, Jesus says, &#8220;He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”</p>
<p data-start="1513" data-end="1603">Jesus does not want any of us to experience God&#8217;s wrath. May we daily remember the deep love Jesus has for us, our call to be His bride, that we would not forsake Him. There is truly nothing in this world that can compare to Jesus.</p>
<p data-start="1513" data-end="1603"><em>Why do we care about capturing man’s heart when we’ve already captured the heart of Jesus?</em></p>
<p data-start="1605" data-end="1777">‭‭Song of Songs‬ ‭4‬:‭9‬ ‭says, “You have captured my heart, my treasure, my bride. You hold it hostage with one glance of your eyes, with a single jewel of your necklace.”</p>
<p data-start="1605" data-end="1777">Did you know that you have captured the heart of God? He sees you as <em>His treasure.</em></p>
<p><em>A bride only cares to be seen by her husband. <strong>What would it look like to live every day only caring to please our Husband, Jesus? What would it look like to let His love be our source of love, security, and identity?</strong></em></p>
<p data-start="2135" data-end="2250">We are all craving for attention and love, but are we looking to the right person to receive what we actually need?</p>
<p data-start="2252" data-end="2395">To the single person or married person who feels unseen and unloved, know that there is One who is madly in love with you. His name is Jesus. His love is like no other. He surpasses all lovers on this earth because He is God and His love is <strong>perfect and pure</strong> (<a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/114/1JN.4.18.NKJV" target="_blank" rel="noopener">1 John 4:18</a>).</p>
<p data-start="2543" data-end="2663">Jesus cares to search you and know you (<a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/114/PSA.139.1.NKJV" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Psalm 139:1</a>). He even knows your thoughts before a word is spoken (<a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/114/PSA.139.4.NKJV" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Psalm 139:4</a>).</p>
<p data-start="2665" data-end="2726">God is seeking after your heart, but are you seeking after His?</p>
<p data-start="2728" data-end="2861">Jesus willingly suffered and died on the cross to purchase you back to be His bride, if you would accept Him as your Lord and Savior. Stop seeking after the attention of lesser lovers. The lust of the world never satisfies but leaves us empty and bound by sin.</p>
<p data-start="2991" data-end="3073">Seek after a love that<strong> fulfills you and frees you</strong>. <strong>Seek after Jesus. </strong></p>
<h2 data-start="3611" data-end="3834">Intimacy with Jesus</h2>
<p data-start="3080" data-end="3292">We all want to be intimately known, seen, and loved. So many times we look for “lesser lovers”, instead of our ultimate Lover who is Jesus. There is no one who can love you <strong>perfectly like Jesus. </strong></p>
<p data-start="3294" data-end="3358">You were made to be loved, treasured, and sought after by Jesus.</p>
<p data-start="3360" data-end="3523">Sin separated us from God, but God sent Jesus, His only begotten son, to die for us that we could be made right with God if we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior.</p>
<p data-start="3836" data-end="4003">We were made to have an intimate relationship with Jesus. <em><strong>Will you take time to seek Jesus and spend time in the Bible?  </strong></em>Invite the Holy Spirit to reveal Jesus as your bridegroom as you open up the Bible. May our response be to set our hearts only to please Jesus.</p>
<p data-start="4130" data-end="4225">No earthly relationship can be your Savior and fulfill you. <strong>Only Jesus</strong> is your Savior. May we not forget that we have a Lover and Husband, Jesus.</p>
<p data-start="4287" data-end="4447">Isaiah 54:5 says, “For your Maker is your husband—the Lord Almighty is his name—the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; he is called the God of all the earth.”</p>
<p data-start="4449" data-end="4521">If you are battling with insecurity, fear, or loneliness, turn to Jesus. You were made to have an intimate relationship with Jesus.</p>
<p data-start="4583" data-end="4727">Apart from God, we will experience loneliness, insecurity, anxiety, and all other darknesses because only in Jesus can we be whole and complete. His love alone is what perfects us (<a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/114/1JN.4.18.NKJV" target="_blank" rel="noopener">1 John 4:18</a>).</p>
<p data-start="6088" data-end="6191">We can’t create a pure heart in our own strength. Only God can create in us a pure heart (Psalm 51:10). What is our part then to be found spotless, blameless, and at peace with God? To <strong>actively live a surrendered life </strong>to Jesus. As the <strong>bride of Christ</strong>, we are called to make every effort to be found spotless, blameless, and at peace with God (<a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/114/2PE.3.14.NKJV" target="_blank" rel="noopener">2 Peter 3:14</a>).</p>
<p data-start="6347" data-end="6497">This looks like going to Jesus when you’re feeling hurt, angry, sad, anxious, envious, lustful, etc., and allowing His love and truth to wash over you. As we come to Jesus with an open heart to receive His love, His love purifies and perfects our broken hearts.</p>
<p data-start="4984" data-end="5162"><em>Are we living every day, preparing ourselves as the bride of Jesus? Are we setting our hearts apart to be holy and pure for when He comes back to completely take us as His bride? </em>God wants you to live every day knowing that you are the bride of Christ. Satisfaction and fulfillment come from being rooted and established in God’s love.</p>

<p data-start="260" data-end="357">We can easily be led by our fears or emotions, but we must learn how to <em>be led by the Spirit</em>.</p>
<p data-start="3054" data-end="3113">Has a bad decision or a past incident left you carrying fear? I had 2 infections back in the summer. The doctors prescribed me a cream that caused bad itchiness all over my body throughout the night.</p>
<p data-start="3254" data-end="3352">When the second infection came back positive, they prescribed me another medicine in a cream form. I had much hesitation with this cream medicine because of my bad previous experience with another cream medicine.</p>
<p data-start="3471" data-end="3651">As I was about to decline the medication, I felt the Holy Spirit convict me that I didn’t seek the Lord, whether I should take the medicine, but instead I was about to make a decision out of fear.</p>
<p data-start="3653" data-end="3833">To my surprise, I felt the Lord say to take the cream medicine. There was fear in my stepping out in faith, but I knew my decision to take this cream was <em>out of faith</em> and not fear.</p>
<p data-start="3835" data-end="3916">I took the cream, and it didn’t give me any bad reactions but aided in my healing. This situation was a great reminder for me to be led by the Spirit.</p>
<h2 data-start="3835" data-end="3916">Do not be led by fear</h2>
<p data-start="3918" data-end="3999">Before making a decision, ask yourself: &#8220;Am I making this decision out of fear or faith? Am I doing this because I’m afraid of (insert reason), or am I doing this because I feel the peace and leading of the Lord?</p>
<p data-start="4126" data-end="4228">There’s a difference between <em>being afraid as we step out in faith and making decisions driven by fear</em>.</p>
<p data-start="4126" data-end="4228">We cannot be led by the Holy Spirit and fear. The spirit of fear and the Holy Spirit are 2 separate spirits. If we want to be led by the Holy Spirit, we must remove fear by renewing our minds with God&#8217;s truth.</p>
<p data-start="4367" data-end="4536"><strong>God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind</strong> (2 Timothy 1:7). Choose to be led by the Holy Spirit because He knows what is best.</p>
</div>
<p data-start="4367" data-end="4536">Fear is a tactic of the enemy. It was fear that stopped the Israelites from entering the Promised Land (Numbers 13-14). Joshua tells the Israelites in Numbers 14:9, &#8220;Only do not rebel against the Lord, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the Lord is with us. <strong>Do not fear them</strong>.”</p>
<p data-start="4367" data-end="4536">Joshua already warned the Israelites to not fear, but they gave in to fear and missed out on God&#8217;s best.</p>
<p data-start="4367" data-end="4536">We also see in Jeremiah 42-43 that the remnant of Judah was afraid to remain in Judah under Babylon, and instead disobeyed God out of fear and went back to Egypt (to what seemed safe and comfortable). Jeremiah comforts the people with God&#8217;s word by saying, &#8220;Do not be afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom you are afraid; do not be afraid of him,’ says the Lord, ‘for I am with you, to save you and deliver you from his hand&#8221; (‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭42‬:‭11).</p>
<p data-start="4367" data-end="4536">The leaders of the remnant of Judah, unfortunately gave in to fear and ended up dying in Egypt. They disobeyed the Word of God out of fear.</p>
<p data-start="4367" data-end="4536">Fear never leads us to God&#8217;s best. The enemy uses fear to cause us to disobey God. Let us not partner with the spirit of fear, but instead walk by faith and <strong>follow the Holy Spirit</strong>.</p>
<h2 data-start="4367" data-end="4536">How to receive the Holy Spirit</h2>
<div>
<p data-start="4367" data-end="4536">We <strong>need</strong> the Holy Spirit. Living with the Holy Spirit cannot be optional for followers of Jesus.</p>
<p data-start="366" data-end="530">When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, His Spirit, the Holy Spirit lives in us.  Through Jesus, we are baptized with the Holy Spirit and fire (<a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/114/MAT.3.11" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Matthew 3:11</a>).</p>
<p data-start="366" data-end="530">The Holy Spirit gives us joy in the midst of pain, strength in times of suffering, and boldness with God’s wisdom and power to be a witness and ambassador of Jesus. He also teaches and reminds us of all things that Jesus tells us in the Word (<a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/114/JHN.14.26" target="_blank" rel="noopener">John 14:26)</a>. The Holy Spirit is who reveals Jesus to us and allows us to be close and intimate with Him.</p>
<p data-start="659" data-end="847">Jesus overcame death and is coming back for us. Though He is not physically with us, He is with us every day by His Holy Spirit. Jesus tells us that we will face trouble in this world, but we can take heart that He has overcome the world (<a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/114/JHN.16.33" target="_blank" rel="noopener">John 16:33</a>).</p>
<p data-start="849" data-end="975">We get filled with the Holy Spirit by asking the Holy Spirit to fill us and surrendering our lives daily for Him to take over. Surrendering ourselves to the Holy Spirit looks like denying our own fleshly desires to seek and yield after <strong>His desires.</strong></p>
<p data-start="1102" data-end="1268">Galatians 5:24-25 says, “And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.”</p>
<p data-start="1270" data-end="1349">Every day we are invited to <strong>walk by the Spirit</strong> and not the flesh.</p>
<p data-start="1351" data-end="1473">The disciples needed to be filled with the Holy Spirit, so how much more do we need to be filled with the Holy Spirit?</p>
<h2 data-start="4367" data-end="4536">Leaning on the Holy Spirit</h2>
<p data-start="1480" data-end="1669">Let us not forget that we have 24/7 access to our Helper, the Holy Spirit. Even though Jesus is not physically with us, we have Him ever present with us through His Spirit, the Holy Spirit.</p>
<p data-start="1671" data-end="1792">Jesus even tells us that it is to our advantage that He departs so that we can receive the Holy Spirit who is our Helper.</p>
<p data-start="1794" data-end="1994">Jesus says in John 16:7, “Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.”</p>
<p data-start="1794" data-end="1994"><em><strong>Are you actively seeking guidance and help from the Holy Spirit?</strong></em></p>
<p data-start="2122" data-end="2244">May we lean on the Holy Spirit in <strong>everything</strong> we do. Jesus knows what is best for us in every area of our lives.</p>
<p data-start="2122" data-end="2244">We can lean on the Holy Spirit in how to respond to our spouse if we are married, how and when to discipline our kids if we are parents, how to make decisions for our future as a college student and adult, and more.</p>
<p data-start="2122" data-end="2244">The first step to leaning on the Holy Spirit is <strong>to first acknowledge the Holy Spirit</strong>. Before you work on an assignment or tackle a problem, ask the Holy Spirit to give you the wisdom and strength you need. The Holy Spirit will not force His way on us. He speaks as much as we invite Him to speak.</p>
<p data-start="2122" data-end="2244">The Holy Spirit is gentle, but convicting. We can quench the Holy Spirit&#8217;s voice in our lives if we continue to disregard His guidance. The more we disregard the nudge of the Holy Spirit, the more we quench our ability to hear the Holy Spirit. God says in 1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭19‬, “Do not quench the Spirit.” Be open to listening to the Holy Spirit, even in areas where you may think you know what is best.</p>
<p data-start="2122" data-end="2244">Humility is our willingness to be lowly and seek God. A humble heart is a repentful heart.</p>
<p data-start="2653" data-end="2775"><em><strong>Will you be intentional every day to listen and yield to the Holy Spirit&#8217;s leading?</strong></em></p>
<p data-start="2251" data-end="2391">Do you want to grow in hearing the Holy Spirit? It starts with <strong>obeying and yielding in humility</strong> to the conviction of the Holy Spirit. Our choice to hold on to offense, fear, grumbling, and willful acts of sin quenches the work of the Holy Spirit to reveal Jesus in us and through us.</p>
<p data-start="2929" data-end="3047">There’s no better way than following where the Spirit leads (which will always align with Jesus and His Word—the Bible).</p>
<p data-start="4543" data-end="4727">Our anxieties and fears <strong>belong in the hands of Jesus</strong>. The next time fear comes, give it to Jesus through prayer, and trust that He hears you and has you covered.</p>
<p data-start="4729" data-end="5004">God tells us in Philippians 4:6, “Be anxious for nothing, but in <strong>everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving</strong>, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”</p>
<p data-start="5006" data-end="5070">The peace of God comes as we surrender our worries into His hands. Surrendering to God means we trust God with the process <strong>and</strong> result of what we are worrying about.</p>
<p data-start="5072" data-end="5169">So remember, give your worries to Jesus and be<strong> led by the Spirit. </strong></p>
<p data-start="5308" data-end="5723"><b><i>Prayer: </i></b>Jesus, thank You for giving us Your Holy Spirit to guide us, help us, and lead us in truth. Forgive us for the times we allow fear or emotions to make our decisions instead of seeking You first. Teach us to surrender our worries, anxieties, and plans into Your hands. Help us to walk by the Spirit daily, trusting that You know what is best for every area of our lives. Lead us in peace, faith, and obedience. Amen.</p>

<div>Worrying does us no good. Learn <em>how to stop worrying</em> and trust God.</div>
</div>
<p data-start="71" data-end="300">I sat on my bed, worried about how I was going to reach the big goals I had on my whiteboard, but the Holy Spirit led me to look at this verse: “For You are great, and do wondrous things; You alone are God” (Psalms‬ ‭86‬:‭10‬).</p>
<p data-start="302" data-end="419">I needed this reminder. I was so fixed on how great my problems were instead of fixing my eyes on<strong><em> how great God is</em></strong>.</p>
<p data-start="421" data-end="490"><em>Instead of worrying, will you turn your attention to worship Jesus?</em></p>
<p data-start="492" data-end="583">Worrying does us no good, and it never produces the God-solutions we want to see. God tells us in Matthew 6:27, &#8220;Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?&#8221; Worrying brings<em> no benefits</em> to our lives. We need to learn to set our worries aside and<strong> trust God</strong>. We learn how to stop worrying as we learn how to trust God.</p>
<h2 data-start="585" data-end="767">How To Trust God</h2>
<p data-start="585" data-end="767">Thoughts of fear and worry are bound to enter your mind. We must be intentional to renew our minds with God&#8217;s Word whenever fearful thoughts come.<strong> To renew our mind means to <em>replace</em> every fearful thought with God&#8217;s truth</strong>.</p>
<p data-start="585" data-end="767">Romans 12:2 says, &#8220;And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.&#8221;</p>
<p data-start="585" data-end="767">If we want to see God&#8217;s best in our lives, we must be willing to renew our minds and live according to God&#8217;s ways, and not the world&#8217;s ways. To live according to God&#8217;s way and to trust God will require us to align our thinking, which positions us to trust God.</p>
<p data-start="585" data-end="767">Instead of thinking thoughts like, &#8220;I hope God will come through&#8221;, think thoughts like this: &#8220;I thank you God, that you hear my cries, and you will deliver me out of all my troubles.&#8221;</p>
<p data-start="585" data-end="767">Turn God&#8217;s Word into your own personal declaration. The thought above comes from the Bible verse, Psalm 34:17 which says, &#8220;The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles.&#8221;</p>
<p data-start="585" data-end="767">I love that this verse says that God will deliver us from <strong>all</strong> our troubles, not just some,<em> but all</em>.</p>
<p data-start="585" data-end="767">Have Bible verses ready to renew your mind with and meditate on.</p>
<p data-start="585" data-end="767">Psalm 119:11 says, &#8220;I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.&#8221; God&#8217;s Word needs to be hidden in our hearts. The only way to hide God&#8217;s Word in our hearts is to take the time to read God&#8217;s Word. Take time daily to meditate on the Word of God.</p>
<p data-start="585" data-end="767">Invite the Holy Spirit to give you revelation and understanding of God&#8217;s Word and who God is. May we live every day with a reverence towards God and an awareness of who He is and how He is with us and for us.</p>
<p data-start="585" data-end="767">The moment thoughts of worry arise in your mind, be intentional to replace them with the Word of God. We learn how to trust God by choosing to lay our worries aside and believing in God&#8217;s Word and faithfulness.</p>
<h2 data-start="492" data-end="583">Do Your Part and Trust God</h2>
<p data-start="585" data-end="767">God commands us not to worry. We see this in passages like Philippians 4 and Matthew 6. Throughout the Bible, we also see God commanding His children not to fear. If we are living outside of God&#8217;s will and not obeying His Word, we then have a reason to worry. Proverbs 19:23 says, &#8220;The fear of the LORD leads to life, And he who has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil.&#8221;</p>
<p data-start="585" data-end="767">As long as we are seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, we have nothing to worry about. God tells us in Matthew 6:31-34, “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.&#8221;</p>
<p data-start="585" data-end="767">This does not mean we will not go through troubles, but we can trust God to get us through every storm we face.</p>
<p data-start="585" data-end="767">Our job is to do our part (seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness), and God will do His part.</p>
<p data-start="585" data-end="767">The same God who helped the Israelites leave Egypt safely and split the Red Sea is the same God who is here to help us. Exodus 14:14 says, &#8220;The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.&#8221;</p>
<p data-start="585" data-end="767">Do your part in obeying God. As you do your part, <em>God will do the impossible part</em>.</p>
<p data-start="585" data-end="767">Worrying can often lead us to pursue things that are not of God, just to speed things up which causes us to birth an “Ishmael” instead of God’s initial good plans. I have many times tried to do things in my own timeline to reach my desired goal, or pursue opportunities without having the peace of God. These things have only left me stressed and brought me further away from what God wants to do through me.</p>
<p data-start="585" data-end="767">Worrying truly brings us no good. Psalm 37:8 says, &#8220;Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret—it only causes harm.&#8221;</p>
<p data-start="585" data-end="767">The quicker we can grasp this, the better our lives will be. Do not try to do things in your strength. Trust God and<strong><em> let God fight your battles</em></strong>. Practice learning on the Word of God.</p>
<h2 data-start="585" data-end="767">You Serve a Great God</h2>
<p data-start="2634" data-end="2712">Are we more convinced of how great our problems are or how great our God is? Make a habit of turning your worries into worship. God alone is great, and He does wondrous things. He is known for accomplishing<em> difficult and impossible things</em>.</p>
<p data-start="1215" data-end="1416">Just because you have a problem does not mean God is not present. We live in an imperfect world because of sin, but the good news is we have a perfect God who is always present to comfort and help us.</p>
<p data-start="1418" data-end="1504">Let your problems remind you to call upon God for help and to put your trust in Him. Psalm 46:1 says, “God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.”</p>
<p data-start="1592" data-end="1737"><strong>God is available to comfort you in your pain, mess, confusion, and sorrows.</strong> <em>Go to Him</em> as your refuge for help and trust His timing and process. Remember that you serve a GREAT God. You can have confidence as you rest in God’s ability and not your own.</p>
<p data-start="1592" data-end="1737"><em>Will you give attention to who God is rather than your current circumstances?</em></p>
<p data-start="1739" data-end="1897">While things may not always turn out how you pictured they would be, this does not mean God is not good or present. His ways are not our ways (<a href="https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Isaiah%2055%3A8-9&amp;version=NIV" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Isaiah 55:8-9</a>).</p>
<p data-start="1899" data-end="1959">Trust in God’s faithfulness despite the problems you face. It’s our job to follow Jesus, and God’s job to order our steps.</p>
<p data-start="2028" data-end="2207">Psalm 37:23 says, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way.” As we seek to follow Jesus wholeheartedly, He will order and establish our steps.</p>
<p data-start="2209" data-end="2335">This means we do not need to worry about the present or future, along with the “how’s” for the assignments that God gives us.</p>
<p data-start="2337" data-end="2466"><em>Are you allowing Jesus to be your Shepherd in ALL areas of your life? Does your heart seek to please His will and not your own?</em></p>
<p data-start="2468" data-end="2632">There is safety in following Jesus because His way is always perfect for us. We don’t have to worry as we abide in the secret place of the Most High (<a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/114/PSA.91.1" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Psalm 91:1</a>) and stand upon the Word of God.</p>
<p data-start="2791" data-end="2854"><em>Will you practice turning your times of worry into worshipping God?</em></p>
<p data-start="2856" data-end="3055">Be comforted that even God commands us not to be anxious about anything, but instead by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, letting our requests be made known to Him (<a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/114/PHP.4.6" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬</a>).</p>
<p data-start="3057" data-end="3161">The next time you are worried, remember that you serve a GREAT God. Nothing is too hard for God to do.</p>
<p data-start="3248" data-end="3370">As long as you are abiding in Jesus, you will be protected under His care. So remember, <b><i>stop worrying and start worshipping the One who is always in control.</i></b></p>
<p><b><i>Prayer:</i></b><i> Jesus, thank You that I can trust You with every part of my life. When I start to worry, remind me to fix my eyes on You instead of my problems. Teach me to turn my worries into worship and to rest in Your presence. You are great and do wondrous things, so help me to trust Your plan and timing.<br />

		<title>The Enduring Love of Jesus</title>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p data-start="212" data-end="439">The <em>enduring love of Jesus</em> towards us is like no other. Jesus endured suffering because of His<strong><em> enduring love</em> </strong>for us. He willingly carried and endured the cross so that we could have an abundant life on earth and eternal life. The <em>enduring love of Jesus</em> is what helps us to endure in the faith until the end.</p>
<p data-start="568" data-end="719">We all long to be loved because we were created to be loved. While relationships here on earth are vital for us to thrive, we must remember that God&#8217;s love is greater than any love we could ever experience on earth.</p>
<p data-start="568" data-end="719">The love of Jesus is <strong>pure, perfect, and great</strong>. No earthly relationship could ever surpass God&#8217;s love. Ephesians 3:17-18 says, &#8220;And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp <em>how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.</em>&#8220;</p>
<p data-start="568" data-end="719">We need a revelation of Jesus&#8217; enduring love so that we, too, can endure this life steadfast in the faith.</p>
<p data-start="568" data-end="719">Hebrews 12:1-4 says, &#8220;Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls. You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin.&#8221;</p>
<p data-start="568" data-end="719">Jesus does not promise us an easy life with no troubles. We need to stand strong and fight the good fight of faith daily, and it starts with being rooted in God&#8217;s love. As we behold Jesus and His enduring love for us, we can<strong> finish our race strong</strong>.</p>
<p data-start="568" data-end="719">Let us aim to live as Paul, who said, &#8220;I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith&#8221; (2 Timothy 4:7).</p>
<p data-start="568" data-end="719"><em>What is hindering you from fighting the good fight and keeping the faith? </em><em> How can you be more intentional in fixing your eyes on the enduring love of Jesus toward you?</em></p>
<h2 data-start="568" data-end="719">Man of Sorrows</h2>
<p data-start="568" data-end="719">Though Jesus is the Good Shepherd, He chose to be <strong>led like a lamb to the slaughter</strong> because of His great love for us. He didn’t bother to defend Himself close to His crucifixion because He knew He had to die for us. Isaiah 53:7 says, “He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth.”</p>
<p data-start="823" data-end="981">Jesus is God, but He chose to put on flesh, suffer as a Man, and die for us so that in Him, we can find redemption (right standing with God) and eternal life.</p>
<p data-start="823" data-end="981">Take time to ask the Holy Spirit to give you a revelation of the sufferings of Jesus and understand the depths of His love for you. Jesus endured the cross with joy and bore every weight of sin so that we don’t have to bear the burdens of this world and sin.</p>
<p data-start="1472" data-end="1633">His love for us is an <strong>enduring</strong> one.</p>
<p data-start="1472" data-end="1633">Think about how patient and kind God has been toward you. Jesus&#8217;s love willingly waits for us with long-suffering and pursues us even at the cost of enduring the shame of the cross.</p>
<p data-start="1635" data-end="1802">The cross looks glorious now for us as Christians, but the cross was not a glorious thing back during Jesus’s time. The cross represented shame and a criminal’s death.</p>
<p data-start="1804" data-end="1903">Jesus gladly endured the cross, despising the shame because of how much He loves us (Hebrews 12:2).</p>
<p data-start="1992" data-end="2348">Jesus, who being in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross (Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭6‬-‭8‬).</p>
<p data-start="1992" data-end="2348">Remember every day how much Jesus loves you and His <strong>enduring love</strong> for you. Do not believe the lie of the enemy that you are not loved. God&#8217;s love has been lavished upon us through His Son, Jesus Christ.</p>
<h2 data-start="1992" data-end="2348">Living with the Cross Before Us</h2>
<p data-start="2350" data-end="2530">What would it look like if we lived with the cross before us, remembering what Jesus did for us? You may mentally know that Jesus died on the cross, but has it become real and alive in your heart?</p>
<p data-start="2350" data-end="2530">This is when we need the Holy Spirit to reveal the meaning of the death and resurrection of Jesus.</p>
<p data-start="2350" data-end="2530">May we live with a revelation of the cross every day, remembering how greatly Jesus loved us and that He willingly suffered and died on the cross so that we could have eternal life.</p>
<p data-start="2532" data-end="2703">None of us deserves eternal life, but Jesus chose to make a way for us to have an abundant life through His death. Only the blood of Jesus can wash our sins away (1 Peter 1:17-18).</p>
<p data-start="2848" data-end="3006">We need a <strong>daily revelation</strong> of God’s love to follow Jesus successfully. We can only love Jesus because He first loved us (1 John 4:19).</p>
<p data-start="2848" data-end="3006">Receive the love of Jesus as you look to the cross and choose to daily follow Him that you may be saved. He is worthy of our laid-down lives.</p>
<p data-start="3008" data-end="3225">Following Jesus out of mere religion will never last long. If we want to live out what Jesus says in Matthew 16:24, to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Jesus, we must be <strong>rooted in God&#8217;s love that is revealed through Jesus Christ. </strong></p>
<p data-start="3227" data-end="3375">It is the enduring love that Jesus displayed on the way to the cross and His crucifixion that strengthens us to carry our own cross to follow Jesus.</p>
<p data-start="3377" data-end="3584">As we remember His great mercy and love, we become empowered to love Jesus back.</p>
<p data-start="3377" data-end="3584"><em><strong>Will you ask Jesus to give you a greater revelation of His love for you on the cross? </strong></em></p>
<p data-start="3586" data-end="3794">We have real hope that death isn’t the end because Jesus is alive! Jesus was crucified, but on the third day he rose again. He overcame death, so in Jesus, we too will overcome death and live forever.</p>
<p data-start="3796" data-end="3947">Jesus says in Revelation 1:18, “I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.” May you experience the depth of Jesus&#8217;s sacrifice and the power of His resurrection.</p>
<p>So remember, <em><strong>the enduring love of Jesus is like no other. </strong></em></p>
<p><b><i>Prayer: </i></b><i></i>Jesus, thank You for loving me with an enduring love. Thank You for the cross, for Your sacrifice, and for the hope I have in You. Help me live every day rooted in Your love.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p data-start="265" data-end="362">We live in a culture driven by idols. Learn<em> what is idolatry and how to avoid idols</em>.</p>
<p data-start="364" data-end="544">How many times have we looked to money or people as our savior instead of God? I fell into the trap of thinking money was my savior rather than God. I took on business deals that I shouldn’t have because of our financial needs.</p>
<p data-start="698" data-end="807">The mistake I made was that I didn’t ask God whether I should take these business deals before giving my yes.</p>
<p data-start="809" data-end="862">I followed where the money was, <strong><em>but not God</em>. </strong></p>
<p data-start="864" data-end="962">This kept me from stewarding my calling as a mother and building the ministry God entrusted to me. I ended up obeying God and letting go of the business deals. It was then that I could feel God’s grace upon my life to do what He has called me to do.</p>
<p data-start="1116" data-end="1249">As I stepped out in faith to pursue Living Revelations wholeheartedly, I started to see God bring the provision through the ministry.</p>
<p data-start="1251" data-end="1310">This was a reminder to me that<strong> God is my Savior</strong>, not money.</p>
<h2 data-start="1251" data-end="1310">What is Idolatry?</h2>
<p data-start="1312" data-end="1430">God makes it clear that we are not to have any gods before him (<a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/114/EXO.20.3" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Exodus 20:3)</a>. Jesus alone is the One we are to follow. What is idolatry? Idolatry is anything we put above God. Idolatry begins when we believe <em>God is not enough</em>.</p>
<p data-start="1312" data-end="1430">It’s in the moment we say, “I need to have this,” that what we start to develop an idol in our hearts. Money, relationships, fame, etc., can easily become idols if we are not careful to remember that<em> <strong>Jesus is all we need</strong></em>. We must always<em> put God first</em>.</p>
<p data-start="1753" data-end="1880">Money is not bad, but when money becomes our main ambition, it can become an idol where we see money as our savior and not God.</p>
<p data-start="1882" data-end="2244">God warns us in I Timothy‬ ‭6‬:‭9‬-‭10‬, “But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”</p>
<p data-start="2246" data-end="2337">The love of money can cause us to stray from the faith, leading us to destruction and hell.</p>
<p data-start="2246" data-end="2337">Matthew 6:24 says, &#8220;No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.&#8221;</p>
<p data-start="2246" data-end="2337">Don&#8217;t believe the lie that you can serve God and idols. Idolatry removes God from our lives. When we read the Old Testament, we see countless times that idols and the high places where people worshipped idols would always pull people away from God.</p>
<p data-start="2246" data-end="2337">We <em>cannot</em> tolerate idolatry.</p>
<p data-start="2339" data-end="2492">Let’s not make our ambitions to be rich, but rather to do the will of God and use our finances for <em><strong>His purposes </strong></em>and not our own personal gain.</p>
<p data-start="2494" data-end="2726">The enemy wants us to live short-minded, thinking of worldly pleasures, but God invites us to live with eternity in mind. The money we have now should be used to store up eternal treasures for the life to come when Jesus comes back.</p>
<p data-start="2728" data-end="2900">Everything we have now on earth will disappear (<a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/114/1TI.6.7" target="_blank" rel="noopener">1 Timothy 6:7</a>), but our good deeds done for God will account for us riches that we will get to enjoy for eternity in heaven.</p>
<p data-start="4534" data-end="4588"><em>Are you following where the money is or God’s leading?</em></p>
<p data-start="4799" data-end="5027">Don’t let money rule you. If you serve money, you will live a life of worry because money cannot guarantee you security. If you serve God, you will never have to worry because <strong>He is faithful </strong>to provide all our needs.</p>
<p data-start="5029" data-end="5224">Jesus tells us right after verse 24 not to worry about what we will eat or drink. He tells us that God knows what we need and to simply seek first His kingdom and righteousness (Matthew 6:25-33). As long as we put God first, everything else that we need will come.</p>
<h2 data-start="2902" data-end="3287">How to avoid Idols in our Lives</h2>
<p data-start="3330" data-end="3485">How do we guard ourselves from forming idols in our lives? By looking to Jesus as our only Savior — the One who satisfies us and the only One that we need.</p>
<p data-start="2728" data-end="2900">May we continue to carry the heart of Psalm 23:1 that says, &#8220;<em>The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.</em>&#8220;</p>
<p data-start="1312" data-end="1430">The world will constantly remind us that we need everything but God. These are the times when we have to renew our minds with God&#8217;s truth and remember that God is all we need. <strong>Discontentment births idolatry</strong>. The moment when discontentment springs up, we must give thanks to God and rejoice. <strong>Giving thanks to God puts God back where He belongs</strong> and gives us the right perspective of who He is.</p>
<p data-start="1312" data-end="1430">Paul says in Philippians 4:12-13, &#8220;I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. <strong>I can do all this through him who gives me strength</strong>.&#8221;</p>
<p data-start="1312" data-end="1430">Paul was able to avoid idolatry because He <em>looked to Jesus as His source of strength</em>. We must put God first and remember that all we need is found in Him and through Him.</p>
<p data-start="1432" data-end="1544">Practice taking refuge in Jesus when troubles or discontentment arise. Psalm 18:30 says, “God, his way is perfect: The LORD’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.”</p>
<p><em><strong>Do you acknowledge that Jesus alone is your Savior? Are you being led by Jesus or idols like money?</strong></em></p>
<p data-start="2902" data-end="3287">1 Timothy‬ ‭6:17-19‬ says, “Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.”</p>
<p data-start="3487" data-end="3581">It can be easy to make marriage/relationship, success, fame, or a career an idol in our lives.</p>
<p data-start="3583" data-end="3775">If we believe we need to be in a relationship to feel happy, or that we need to achieve a certain career or level of success to be fulfilled, then those things have become idols in our hearts.</p>
<p data-start="3777" data-end="3922">The truth is, nothing will satisfy us except Jesus. <strong>Only Jesus</strong> was made to be our all satisfaction. We were made to worship Jesus alone.</p>
<p data-start="3924" data-end="4037">While marriage, success, and family are beautiful things to have, they were never meant to take the place of God.</p>
<p data-start="4140" data-end="4275">Jesus says in John 6:35, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.”</p>
<p><em>Is there a person or thing that you have put above God? Have you positioned Jesus to be your Savior, the only One you need?</em></p>
<h2 data-start="5029" data-end="5224">Follow Jesus and put God First</h2>
<p data-start="5226" data-end="5369">Let Jesus be the one you look to for guidance. Don’t follow where the money is, but<strong> follow His leading</strong>. There is safety in trusting Jesus.</p>
<p data-start="5371" data-end="5483">Trust that God knows the best way for you to invest your time, gifts, and resources‭‭ for His kingdom and glory.</p>
<p data-start="5529" data-end="5630">Contentment is possible in Jesus, but it requires us to <strong>seek Jesus</strong> and make Him our delight. Psalm 34:8 says, “Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.”</p>
<p data-start="5733" data-end="5936">Where are you turning for rest and satisfaction? The world offers many things before us that can tempt us to seek after those things instead of Jesus, causing us to feel discontent in our current season.</p>
<p data-start="5938" data-end="6163">It can be that vacation you’ve always wanted, or a spouse you’ve been praying for, or the financial breakthrough you need. While these things may be good, let us not lose sight of the One who is good and all satisfying—Jesus.</p>
<p data-start="6165" data-end="6318">1 Timothy 6:6-7 says, “Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.” Godliness with contentment is great gain. Look to Jesus for contentment. He promises to not leave us hungry and thirsty.</p>
<p data-start="6320" data-end="6468">We need to remember that the things of this world will not last forever. What will last forever is our <strong>relationship with Jesus</strong>. May we set our affections on things above and not on earthly things that will pass away (<a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/114/COL.3.2" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Colossians 3:2</a>).</p>
<p><em>Will you take time throughout the day to worship Jesus and seek Him in the Word? </em>So remember, <em><strong>do not fall into idolatry. </strong></em></p>
<p><b><i>Prayer:</i></b><i> Jesus, help me to follow You above all else. Keep me from chasing idols like money or success, and remind me that You alone satisfy. Teach me to trust Your leading, find contentment in every season, and live for what matters eternally.<br />

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p data-start="429" data-end="574">Our words can either tear people down or build people up. They also have the power to impact our circumstances. Know the<em> power of words.</em></p>
<p data-start="576" data-end="701">In my marriage, there have been many times when I wanted to speak negatively towards my spouse and define him by his mistakes.</p>
<p data-start="703" data-end="842">God has been reminding me that we can speak what we see, or speak what <strong>God wants us to do</strong> in our circumstances and in that person.</p>
<p data-start="844" data-end="973">When we choose to speak life-giving and kind words, we<em><strong> partner with what God wants to do</strong></em> in our circumstances and in that person.</p>
<p data-start="975" data-end="1152">Our words, too have the power to bring life to a weary soul and healing to the body. Proverbs 16:24 says, “Kind words are like honey— sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.”</p>
<p data-start="1154" data-end="1258">As a mother and wife, I have to constantly remind myself to speak with the law of kindness in my tongue. Proverbs 31:26 says, “She opens her mouth with wisdom, And on her tongue is the law of kindness.” ‭‭</p>
<p data-start="1154" data-end="1258">I can easily be overcritical with my family, but I am reminded that as a godly woman, I am to speak with grace and kindness, and not out of irritation or bitterness.</p>
<p data-start="1154" data-end="1258">Invite the Holy Spirit to be quick to convict you when you are about to speak something that would grieve Jesus.</p>
<p data-start="1154" data-end="1258">As followers of Jesus, we are not only called to speak kindly to our family, but with those we serve and minister to. God reminds us as servants of God to correct others with patience and kindness (<a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/114/2TI.2.24" target="_blank" rel="noopener">2 Timothy 2:24</a>).</p>
<h2 data-start="1154" data-end="1258">Let Faith fuel your Words</h2>
<p data-start="2712" data-end="2951">As a planner, I naturally speak based on what I see and expect from my work. While it is wise to plan and work for the results you want, God has also been reminding me not to forget what <strong><em>His works and ability can do</em>. </strong></p>
<p data-start="2953" data-end="2973"><strong>God can do anything.</strong></p>
<p data-start="2975" data-end="3097">He can use 5 loaves and 2 fish to feed 5,000 people. He can heal incurable people without any logical reason from doctors.</p>
<p data-start="3099" data-end="3239"><strong>We serve the God of the impossible. </strong></p>
<p data-start="3099" data-end="3239">“With man, this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26). God invites us to partner with Him in our works <strong>and faith</strong>. Faith begins with the words we speak.</p>
<p data-start="1465" data-end="1630">Our natural tendency is to speak what we see or expect, but if we want to partner with what God wants to do, our words need to <em><strong>align with faith</strong></em>.</p>
<p data-start="1465" data-end="1630">Faith is believing without seeing. Hebrews 11:1 says, &#8220;Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.&#8221; The source of our faith can only come from God.</p>
<p data-start="1465" data-end="1630">As we seek God to fill us with <em><strong>His faith</strong></em>, we will then have the faith to partner with God through the words we speak and pray.</p>
<p data-start="1632" data-end="1815">Your words have the power to bring life or death to your circumstances. Proverbs 18:21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.”</p>
<p data-start="1817" data-end="1936">Be careful of what you speak towards yourself, spouse, children, and circumstances. Your words have the power to shape what you will see.</p>
<p data-start="1817" data-end="1936">I remember when my husband pulled a muscle in the beginning years of our marriage and said, &#8220;Great, I am not going to be able to bend down and walk normally for the next 2 weeks&#8221;.</p>
<p data-start="1817" data-end="1936">I was quick to correct his words and said, &#8220;No, you will be able to walk after we drive and get to our next destination <strong>today.</strong>&#8220;</p>
<p data-start="1817" data-end="1936">By God&#8217;s grace, my husband was able to walk normally within the next hour! I am not saying that anything you say will happen just because you say it, but our duty is always to speak God&#8217;s will and Word in every circumstance, <strong>no matter what we see</strong>. When we understand the power of words, our lives will reflect the kingdom of God.</p>
<p data-start="1817" data-end="1936">Sometimes, God does not answer our prayers because of our wrong motives. James 4:3 says, &#8220;When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.&#8221;</p>
<p data-start="1817" data-end="1936">Be intentional to allow the Holy Spirit to reveal your motives that you may leave room for Him to create in you a clean heart (<a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/114/PSA.51.10" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Psalm 51:10</a>). Let faith continue to fuel the power of our words.</p>
<h2 data-start="1817" data-end="1936">Build up others with your Words</h2>
<p data-start="1938" data-end="2182">Your words have the power to <strong>impart grace</strong> to those who hear them. This means your words can bring God’s supernatural strength and encouragement to others — to give people the grace from God to <strong>do what they need to do. </strong></p>
<p data-start="2184" data-end="2338">Ephesians 4:29 says, “Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it <strong><em>may impart grace to the hearers</em></strong>.”</p>
<p data-start="2340" data-end="2424">Our words are powerful. As we meditate on scriptures that speak on the power of our words, may we be more watchful of what comes out of our mouths. Your words have the power to build people up or tear people down. Use your words wisely.</p>
<p data-start="2340" data-end="2424">No matter how intense or angry you may feel, choose to speak kind words to one another. You have access to the fruit of the Spirit as you yield to the Holy Spirit and deny your flesh. You have self-control in how you respond to people and circumstances (<a href="https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Galatians%205%3A22-23&amp;version=NKJV" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Galatians 5:22-23</a>).</p>
<p data-start="3349" data-end="3456">Our words matter to Jesus. May we be aware of His nearness and speak words that are full of life and truth.</p>
<p>So remember <em><strong>the power of words.</strong></em></p>
<p><b><i>Prayer:</i></b><i> Jesus, in every conversation, help me to choose words that reflect Your love. Guard my mouth from speech that may hurt others and teach me to speak in alignment with Your will. Teach me to know the power of our words. Fill my heart with faith so that my words may build others up and give You room to move.</i></p>

		<title>The Simplicity of Loving Jesus</title>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It can be easy to fall into the trap of doing things for Jesus but forgetting to love Him in the process. Let us not forget the<em> simplicity of loving Jesus.</em></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">During prayer, God reminded me that He just wants our love — beyond reading the Bible, obeying God, worshipping Him, and all else that He asks us to do, He is after <strong>our <em>love and devotion</em>. </strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It can be easy to get in the mode of, “I have to spend time with Jesus”, or “I have to worship Him”, etc. But what if our “I have to” turned into “<em>I want to”</em>? </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God’s greatest commandment is that we love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30-31). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We can love Jesus rightly as we take time every day to <strong>receive His love first</strong>. We love because He first loved us (1 John 4:19).</span></p>
<p>Our relationship with Jesus is a marriage. We are called the bride of Christ (Revelation 19:7-9, Revelation 21:2). In my own marriage, when life gets busy, I can easily forget to enjoy my husband in the midst of all the tasks that have to be done.  The same thing can happen in our relationship with Jesus. May we never lose the joy of simply <em>loving Jesus.</em></p>
<h2>Receiving the love of Jesus</h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">How do we receive the love of Jesus? By simply looking to Jesus and what He did for you on the cross. There is no greater way for Jesus to prove His love for us than His death on the cross. Yes, Jesus can bless us here on earth, but nothing will ever compare to the sacrificial love He showed us by coming as a man (though He was God), and dying a painful death on the cross for our sins.</span></p>
<p>Hebrews 12:2 says, &#8220;Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.&#8221;</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Invite the Holy Spirit to give you a revelation of the sufferings of Jesus and His deep love for you. As we meditate and remember the love of Jesus and how patient, kind, and loving He is toward us, we become empowered to love Jesus back. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We don’t deserve to be God’s children and have eternal life because we were all born into sin, but God still chose to make a way for us to be His by sending Jesus to die for us so that we might be made right with God when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ephesians 1:5-7 says, “God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son. He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Take time every day to meditate on God’s love for you. Find scriptures to memorize so that you can be rooted in the love of Jesus. </span></p>
<p>As we meditate on God&#8217;s Word and are rooted in Christ, we will grow our love for the Word of God, who is Jesus Himself. Psalm 119:97 says, &#8220;Oh, how I love your law! I meditate on it all day long.&#8221;</p>
<p>As you set your gaze on the Word of God, you are setting your gaze on <em>Jesus Himself</em>, who is the Word made into flesh (John 1:14).</p>
<h2>Living out our love for Jesus</h2>
<p>Do you live every day <strong>convinced that God loves you? </strong>The enemy wants us to doubt God’s love, but let us not forget how greatly God loves us that He chose to give His only begotten Son, Jesus, to die for us that we may be right with God and have eternal life (John 3:16).</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The greatest gift that we could ever have is salvation in Jesus. God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, to come as a man, though He was in glory with God, to die for us so that we could be set free from sin and be made right with God now and for eternity. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">1 John 3:1 says, “See<em><strong> how very much</strong> </em>our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are…”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God loves you so much. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Take time to ponder the mercy and kindness God has shown you. God&#8217;s love will always be enough to fill you. Don’t allow your fears or circumstances to make you doubt that God loves you. Set your heart on the love of Jesus so that you can love Him back rightly.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Life is about loving Jesus. Jesus wants <em>our love</em>. Yes, we are called to serve Him, but to serve out of our love for Him. </span>So remember, the <em><strong>simplicity of loving Jesus every day.  </strong></em></p>
<p><b><i>Prayer:</i></b><i> Jesus, help me to always remember the gift of salvation and the depth of Your love for me. When distractions pull me away, remind me that You are my greatest treasure. Thank You for choosing me, loving me, and calling me Your own. May my heart be fully devoted to You.</i></p>

		<title>The Lord is My Shepherd</title>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p dir="auto">When you feel lost or if things get hard, remember that you are not alone. Say out loud, &#8220;The Lord is my shepherd.&#8221;</p>
<p data-start="3840" data-end="3931">The Lord recently asked me a piercing question: “<em>Do you really believe I am your Shepherd?</em>”</p>
<p data-start="3933" data-end="4055">I knew God knew the answer, but He wanted me to realize that<em> I wasn’t seeing Him as my Shepherd</em> because things were tough.</p>
<p data-start="4057" data-end="4224">Maybe you’re in a place where you too, are doubting if God really is leading you. Perhaps you are like me, where fear was attached to a lot of the actions I was taking.</p>
<p data-start="4226" data-end="4373">Be encouraged that <em><strong>God is leading you even when you don’t understand why the journey is hard or how exactly you’ll get to your desired destination</strong></em>.</p>
<p data-start="1109" data-end="1333">Is God calling you outside of your comfort zone? Maybe it’s a new leadership position or a business God is calling you to pursue. Whatever “uncomfortable thing” God is calling you to, remember that <strong><em>He is with you</em>. </strong></p>
<p data-start="1335" data-end="1542">I find comfort reading Joshua 1:9, where God tells Joshua, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” ‭‭</p>
<p data-start="1544" data-end="1635">This same command God gives Joshua is the same command He is giving to us as His followers. Joshua was tasked to lead a whole nation into battles to take on territories. Who wouldn’t be scared of such a task?</p>
<p data-start="1755" data-end="1981">The battles you have to face may seem daunting, but remember the God who is with you, <strong>fighting your battles</strong>. It is God who ultimately will hand us the victories and promised territories we are believing for.</p>
<p data-start="1983" data-end="2205">God constantly reminded Joshua that He will give them the promised land they have been believing for. Though we, like Joshua, are called to take action, know that it is ultimately God who will bring us where we need to be.</p>
<p data-start="2207" data-end="2523">God says in Joshua 1:5-6, “No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.”</p>
<p data-start="321" data-end="540">When things get hard, we can easily forget that God is near and for us. Be encouraged with what God says in Psalm 37:18, “The blameless spend their days under the Lord’s care, and their inheritance will endure forever.”</p>
<p data-start="542" data-end="792">As long as we are living rightly before God, we can be sure that God will always take care of us here on earth and for eternity. This doesn’t mean we will not go through hardships, but that even in the midst of the hardships, <strong>He is with us. </strong></p>
<p data-start="794" data-end="993">There is never a day when you are not in God’s sight or care. We are promised that even death will not be our end, but we will be raised to life and have a glorious body with Jesus (<a href="https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1%20Corinthians%2015%3A51-53&amp;version=NKJV" target="_blank" rel="noopener">1 Cor. 15:51-53</a>).</p>
<p data-start="995" data-end="1107">Trust that God will get you through the storm and turn what was meant for your harm for your good and His glory.</p>
<p data-start="2525" data-end="2664">When life gets tough, remember <strong>you are not alone</strong>. The Lord of hosts, who is the King of glory is with you (<a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/114/PSA.24.10" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Psalms‬ ‭24‬:‭10‬</a>).</p>
<p data-start="2666" data-end="2819">The battles you face cannot be compared to the Lord who is with you. Do not tolerate fear, but instead walk by faith and seek the Lord’s help and wisdom. Psalm 23:4 says, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”</p>
<p data-start="3069" data-end="3222">Many times we wait for perfect circumstances to enjoy life. No matter what you are facing, choose to trust God, do good, and <strong>enjoy</strong> where you are at.</p>
<p data-start="3224" data-end="3329">God tells us in Psalm 37:3, “Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.” ‭‭</p>
<p data-start="3331" data-end="3553">Right before verse 3 in Psalm 37 God says, “Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb” (Psalms‬ ‭37‬:‭1‬-‭2‬).</p>
<p data-start="3555" data-end="3648">The context of enjoying safe pasture in Psalm 37 is even in the midst of evildoers around us. Despite the hardships you may be facing, remember that <strong>God is still faithful</strong> to get you through safely.</p>
<p data-start="3773" data-end="3838">We are invited daily to “<em>feed off His faithfulness</em>” (<a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/114/PSA.37.3" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Psalm 37:3</a>).</p>
<p data-start="4375" data-end="4478">Find rest that you’re not alone. Every day choose to declare, &#8220;The Lord is my Shepherd.&#8221;</p>
<p data-start="4375" data-end="4478">What is the role of a Shepherd? The role of a Shepherd is to guide, protect, and provide for the sheep. That is who Jesus is for us. Jesus is the Shepherd and we are His sheep.</p>
<p data-start="4375" data-end="4478">Our call is to simply follow Jesus, <em>our Shepherd</em>.</p>
<p data-start="4375" data-end="4478">The meaning of &#8220;The Lord is my Shepherd&#8221; is to remember that in Jesus, <strong>we have everything that we need. Many Bible verses remind us that God will guide and establish our steps, protect us in time of trouble, and provide all that we need. </strong></p>
<p data-start="4480" data-end="4562">May we renew our minds with Psalm 23:1: “The Lord is my Shepherd, I lack nothing.” Even when we feel in lack, remember that you have everything you need in Jesus. Tell yourself, &#8220;The Lord is my Shepherd&#8221;.</p>
<p data-start="4645" data-end="4770">Trust that as you choose to follow Jesus, His goodness and love will follow you all the days of your life (<a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/114/PSA.23.6" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Psalms‬ ‭23‬:‭6‬)</a>.</p>
<p data-start="4772" data-end="4910">Even when you don’t understand the journey, trust that Jesus is still leading you as you choose to follow Him. Jesus is the Good Shepherd.</p>
<p>So remember, say to yourself: <em>T<strong>he Lord is my Shepherd. </strong></em></p>
<p><b><i>Prayer:</i></b><i> Jesus, help me to remember Your promises when I feel overwhelmed and to hold fast to the truth that You are my Shepherd. Even when I cannot see the path ahead, help me to walk by faith, knowing that You go before me, fight for me, and lead me into peace. </i></p>

		<title>Will I Be Single Forever?</title>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Will I be single forever? This was my biggest fear during my single season (<em>and maybe it’s yours too right now</em>).</p>
<p>For the longest time, I knew I had to break up with my boyfriend. God showed all the red flags. While my love for my ex was real, which made it hard to break up, I also had the fear, <em>what if I stay single forever? What if I never meet someone I am attracted to who also loves God?</em></p>
<p>I remember sharing this fear with another friend, and she expressed having the same fears too. Now that I’ve helped hundreds of single women, I have learned that this is a common fear that many have.</p>
<p>So if you are struggling with the thought of being single forever, know that<em> you’re not alone</em>.</p>
<p>I want to help you through this blog to let go of the fear of being single forever. Here are 3 things to do when the fear of being single forever arises:</p>
<h2>1. Acknowledge the Lie</h2>
<p>When the thought, “Will I be single forever?” arises, you must acknowledge that this thought<strong> is a lie – it’s not true</strong>.</p>
<p>If your desire is to be married, I believe God will grant this desire as long as you are following Him (obeying and yielding to God’s process to mold you to be more like Jesus).</p>
<p>Psalm 37:4 says, “Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.”</p>
<p>To delight in God means you are seeking Him as your source of love and fulfillment. When we receive God’s love, our response is to love God back through our obedience (faithfully following Him) and spending time with Him.</p>
<p>God has a season for everything (Ecclesiastes 3:1). God may be calling you to be single now because He wants you to be rooted in His love.</p>
<p>Stick to the process!</p>

<p>God will lead us to the right spouse if we will trust the process of God and embrace our single season and relationship with Him.</p>
<p>Don’t believe the lie that you will be single forever. Fear never comes from God; it comes from the devil. The devil is the father of lies (John 8:44). Rest in peace knowing that God is a good father who has good plans for us.</p>
<p>Don’t let your fears make you doubt God’s goodness. God knows best, and His timing is always perfect. Psalm 18:30 says, “As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.”</p>
<p>When the thought, “Will I be single forever?” creeps in, remind yourself it’s a lie and instead, declare God’s goodness and faithfulness to bring the right spouse for you. The truth is, <strong>God has good plans for you</strong>. God says in Jeremiah 29:11, “‘For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’”</p>
<h2>2. Seek God for a revelation of His love</h2>
<p>As much as we all would love a partner to love, be loved, and do life with, know that you can experience a love like no other with Jesus. I share in my <a href="https://amzn.to/3qdHNPx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Single but in a Relationship with God book</a> that God can love us through the 5 love languages (quality time, acts of service, words of affirmation, and gifts).</p>
<p>Through my season of singleness, God opened my eyes to see that I didn’t need a boyfriend or husband to experience falling in love. God showed me that I could fall in love with Him and experience His love in a real way.</p>
<p>I learned to turn to God when things were tough and I had no one else to turn to. I went deeper into His presence and His Word.</p>
<p>Sometimes the only way to see God as our everything is to<em><strong> only have Him as our everything</strong></em>.</p>
<p>As I continued to seek God in my alone times, He revealed Himself and led me to scriptures or devotionals I needed. Jesus said in John 6:35, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”</p>
<p>I found God to be the daily bread I needed every day. He truly satisfies.</p>
<p>When the question “Will I be single forever?” begins to linger, remind yourself that you have your<em> ultimate Husband and Lover, Jesus</em>, whom you can seek for love and satisfaction. Isaiah 54:5 says, “For your Maker is your husband, The LORD of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth.”</p>
<p>Don’t let your single season be a time of feeling dry and unsatisfied. You can press into knowing God more and asking Him to reveal His love to you through Jesus Christ. Jesus dying on the cross for our sins and resurrection does not have to be old knowledge–this can be a fresh and daily revelation of God’s love for us.</p>
<p>Ask God to give you a greater revelation of His love for you through Jesus.</p>
<p>“And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God” (Ephesians 3:17-19).</p>
<h2>3. Renew your mind with God’s truth</h2>
<p>Lastly, I want to encourage you to renew your mind with God’s truth. It’s not enough to busy yourself so that you don’t tolerate the worries of, What if I will be single forever? If you keep yourself busy, the fear will only grow in your heart. You must practice renewing your mind with God’s truth (replacing your fears with His truth).</p>
<p>Romans 12:2 says, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”</p>
<p>Transformation happens as we renew our minds with His truth. As we become transformed into the image of Christ, we can then see and testify to God’s good, pleasing, and perfect will.</p>
<p><em>What truths have you hidden away from your life?</em></p>
<p>This is the season to pick back up the convictions the Holy Spirit laid upon your heart. Conviction is meant to <em>draw us back to the will of God</em>.</p>
<p>We must renew our minds with God’s truth. Instead of entertaining our fears or desires, let’s entertain the truth that God is always faithful and always has the best in store for us.</p>
<p>Put your faith in action, and discover how God can meet each of your desires. It’s not about what you know, but what you do with what you know.</p>
<p>God wants you to experience a love and joy that will fulfill you as a single person now and for your future.</p>
<p>So remember, when the thought “Will I be single forever?” arises, tell yourself that <strong>God is faithful </strong>and will bring the right spouse for you in His right timing.</p>
