										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p data-start="212" data-end="439">The <em>enduring love of Jesus</em> towards us is like no other. Jesus endured suffering because of His<strong><em> enduring love</em> </strong>for us. He willingly carried and endured the cross so that we could have an abundant life on earth and eternal life. The <em>enduring love of Jesus</em> is what helps us to endure in the faith until the end.</p>
<p data-start="568" data-end="719">We all long to be loved because we were created to be loved. While relationships here on earth are vital for us to thrive, we must remember that God&#8217;s love is greater than any love we could ever experience on earth.</p>
<p data-start="568" data-end="719">The love of Jesus is <strong>pure, perfect, and great</strong>. No earthly relationship could ever surpass God&#8217;s love. Ephesians 3:17-18 says, &#8220;And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp <em>how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.</em>&#8220;</p>
<p data-start="568" data-end="719">We need a revelation of Jesus&#8217; enduring love so that we, too, can endure this life steadfast in the faith.</p>
<p data-start="568" data-end="719">Hebrews 12:1-4 says, &#8220;Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls. You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin.&#8221;</p>
<p data-start="568" data-end="719">Jesus does not promise us an easy life with no troubles. We need to stand strong and fight the good fight of faith daily, and it starts with being rooted in God&#8217;s love. As we behold Jesus and His enduring love for us, we can<strong> finish our race strong</strong>.</p>
<p data-start="568" data-end="719">Let us aim to live as Paul, who said, &#8220;I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith&#8221; (2 Timothy 4:7).</p>
<p data-start="568" data-end="719"><em>What is hindering you from fighting the good fight and keeping the faith? </em><em> How can you be more intentional in fixing your eyes on the enduring love of Jesus toward you?</em></p>
<h2 data-start="568" data-end="719">Man of Sorrows</h2>
<p data-start="568" data-end="719">Though Jesus is the Good Shepherd, He chose to be <strong>led like a lamb to the slaughter</strong> because of His great love for us. He didn’t bother to defend Himself close to His crucifixion because He knew He had to die for us. Isaiah 53:7 says, “He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth.”</p>
<p data-start="823" data-end="981">Jesus is God, but He chose to put on flesh, suffer as a Man, and die for us so that in Him, we can find redemption (right standing with God) and eternal life.</p>
<p data-start="823" data-end="981">Take time to ask the Holy Spirit to give you a revelation of the sufferings of Jesus and understand the depths of His love for you. Jesus endured the cross with joy and bore every weight of sin so that we don’t have to bear the burdens of this world and sin.</p>
<p data-start="1472" data-end="1633">His love for us is an <strong>enduring</strong> one.</p>
<p data-start="1472" data-end="1633">Think about how patient and kind God has been toward you. Jesus&#8217;s love willingly waits for us with long-suffering and pursues us even at the cost of enduring the shame of the cross.</p>
<p data-start="1635" data-end="1802">The cross looks glorious now for us as Christians, but the cross was not a glorious thing back during Jesus’s time. The cross represented shame and a criminal’s death.</p>
<p data-start="1804" data-end="1903">Jesus gladly endured the cross, despising the shame because of how much He loves us (Hebrews 12:2).</p>
<p data-start="1992" data-end="2348">Jesus, who being in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross (Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭6‬-‭8‬).</p>
<p data-start="1992" data-end="2348">Remember every day how much Jesus loves you and His <strong>enduring love</strong> for you. Do not believe the lie of the enemy that you are not loved. God&#8217;s love has been lavished upon us through His Son, Jesus Christ.</p>
<h2 data-start="1992" data-end="2348">Living with the Cross Before Us</h2>
<p data-start="2350" data-end="2530">What would it look like if we lived with the cross before us, remembering what Jesus did for us? You may mentally know that Jesus died on the cross, but has it become real and alive in your heart?</p>
<p data-start="2350" data-end="2530">This is when we need the Holy Spirit to reveal the meaning of the death and resurrection of Jesus.</p>
<p data-start="2350" data-end="2530">May we live with a revelation of the cross every day, remembering how greatly Jesus loved us and that He willingly suffered and died on the cross so that we could have eternal life.</p>
<p data-start="2532" data-end="2703">None of us deserves eternal life, but Jesus chose to make a way for us to have an abundant life through His death. Only the blood of Jesus can wash our sins away (1 Peter 1:17-18).</p>
<p data-start="2848" data-end="3006">We need a <strong>daily revelation</strong> of God’s love to follow Jesus successfully. We can only love Jesus because He first loved us (1 John 4:19).</p>
<p data-start="2848" data-end="3006">Receive the love of Jesus as you look to the cross and choose to daily follow Him that you may be saved. He is worthy of our laid-down lives.</p>
<p data-start="3008" data-end="3225">Following Jesus out of mere religion will never last long. If we want to live out what Jesus says in Matthew 16:24, to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Jesus, we must be <strong>rooted in God&#8217;s love that is revealed through Jesus Christ. </strong></p>
<p data-start="3227" data-end="3375">It is the enduring love that Jesus displayed on the way to the cross and His crucifixion that strengthens us to carry our own cross to follow Jesus.</p>
<p data-start="3377" data-end="3584">As we remember His great mercy and love, we become empowered to love Jesus back.</p>
<p data-start="3377" data-end="3584"><em><strong>Will you ask Jesus to give you a greater revelation of His love for you on the cross? </strong></em></p>
<p data-start="3586" data-end="3794">We have real hope that death isn’t the end because Jesus is alive! Jesus was crucified, but on the third day he rose again. He overcame death, so in Jesus, we too will overcome death and live forever.</p>
<p data-start="3796" data-end="3947">Jesus says in Revelation 1:18, “I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.” May you experience the depth of Jesus&#8217;s sacrifice and the power of His resurrection.</p>
<p>So remember, <em><strong>the enduring love of Jesus is like no other. </strong></em></p>
<p><b><i>Prayer: </i></b><i></i>Jesus, thank You for loving me with an enduring love. Thank You for the cross, for Your sacrifice, and for the hope I have in You. Help me live every day rooted in Your love.</p>

		<title>Stay Steadfast While Waiting on God</title>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It can be easy to lose hope when we don’t see change or breakthrough in our circumstances. </span>Learn how to <em>stay steadfast while waiting on God</em>.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">While waiting for our breakthrough, we must stay<strong> joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer</strong> (Romans 12:12). </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">These three things will help us stay steadfast in Jesus as we wait for His promises to come to pass. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">When we lose hope and patience and stop praying, we end up being discouraged and are more prone to take things into our own hands instead of waiting on God’s perfect timing and will. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">My husband and I have been waiting for certain promises from God to come to pass but we have found our circumstances only challenging us. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">There was a time when I stopped praying for that certain breakthrough we have been believing God for and I found myself losing hope and almost taking things into my own hands. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God reminded me that I had lost faith because<em> I stopped praying</em>. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We must not stop praying for God’s promises to come to pass so that we keep our hearts postured to have faith in God. Prayer reminds us that God desires to bring to pass the promises He has spoken over our lives. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We lose faith when we look at our circumstances instead of Jesus. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There may be no change happening in our circumstances, but when we look to Jesus, we are reminded that <strong>He is faithful </strong>and able to do the impossible. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus says in Matthew 19:26, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Don’t forget the God you serve who is the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light (1 Tim. 6:15-16). </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">No matter what you are facing, <em>will you choose to</em> <em><strong>look to Jesus and trust that He is able to bring change and the breakthrough that you have been waiting for?</strong></em></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Let us believe with faith and remember that by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered Him faithful who had made the promise (Hebrews 11:11).</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><em>Will you trust God and put your confidence in His faithfulness?</em> </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Trials and testing will come, but as we abide in Jesus and trust Him, we will never find ourselves afraid and frail but <strong>confident and bearing fruit</strong>.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Be still and rooted in God’s love which is found in Jesus who proved His love for us by dying for us while we were yet sinners. God who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? (Romans 8:32). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We need to be <em><strong>confident </strong></em>of God’s love for us and that confidence comes as we meditate on His word and remember the cross where Jesus died for us.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">May we be like the tree described in Jeremiah 17:7-8: “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fear will try to make us focus on our problems instead of focusing on Jesus. Trust Jesus and <strong>keep your gaze on Him</strong>. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Peace comes as we <em><strong>look at Jesus</strong></em>, not our circumstances. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Isaiah 26:3 says, “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You Because he trusts in You.” Keep your eyes on Jesus and remember that He is in control and faithful. He promises to be with us on earth and for eternity. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">1 Thessalonians 5:10 says, “Christ died for us so that, whether we are dead or alive when he returns, we can live with him forever.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus promises to always be with those who have accepted Him as their Lord and Savior. This means no matter what dark valley we go through, we can keep our eyes on Jesus and trust Him to help us because <strong>He is with us</strong>. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Choose to dwell on God’s word and ponder His ways. Position yourself to delight in His word and remember His faithfulness, especially during hard times. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">We don’t have to lose heart because <strong>God is for us</strong>. Psalm 27:13 says, “I would have lost heart unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God is good and He loves you. We can be assured of God’s love as we remember Jesus, who was His only begotten Son that He sent to die for us (Romans 5:8). </span>So remember, <em><strong>stay steadfast while waiting on God. </strong></em></p>
<p><b><i>Prayer:</i></b><i> <span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus, thank You for being faithful. No matter what challenge we face in life, may we always remember that we can look to You for a breakthrough. Just like You made a way for Sarah and others in the Bible, You will make a way for us.</span></i></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p dir="auto">We need Jesus to take up our cross and persevere during hard times. Learn how to<em> take up your cross and follow Jesus daily</em>.</p>
<p dir="auto"><span style="font-weight: 400;">It’s not enough to just read our Bible to cross it off our to-do list — we need a <em>revelation of Jesus</em> in the Word every day to receive Him as our daily bread which gives us strength to <strong>live in Him. </strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We can’t afford to live a day without abiding in Jesus and partaking in him. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Just as we need food to operate, we too need Jesus for strength to walk by the Holy Spirit and not our flesh.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We will grow weary if we try to do life without a fresh revelation of Jesus every day. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">I find that as a mom with a newborn and toddler, annoyance creeps in very quickly, causing me to be mean and not like Jesus if I don’t take time throughout the day to remain in Jesus and meditate on His word. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We must take time throughout the day to seek Jesus in the Bible and ask Him to open up the Word to strengthen us. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Start your day with the desire and hunger to encounter Jesus and receive Him as your<em><strong> daily bread</strong></em>. Make Matthew 6:11 your daily prayer: “Give us this day our daily bread.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Every day you must be ready to take up your cross <em><strong>deny your flesh. </strong></em></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The temptation to complain, be angry, lust, feel afraid, and more will arise, but we must say no to these thoughts and feelings. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">To be a disciple of Jesus will require you to take up your cross and deny your fleshly desires</span>—<span style="font-weight: 400;">die to what is sinful by submitting to God and following Him. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We must deny our flesh if we want to experience the <em>life and love of Jesus</em>. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Our fleshly desires is what holds us back from truly receiving Jesus. If we would choose to let go of our annoyances, pain, and other sinful thoughts and instead fix our eyes on Jesus, we will then be filled with His love, peace, and joy. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A life of <strong>self-denial and embracing Jesus</strong> is the way to follow Jesus. This does not mean that we ignore our feelings, but rather allow our feelings<em> to draw near to Jesus</em>. When we bring our emotions to Jesus, He make room for Him to fills us with His love to remove all that is not of Him. </span></p>
<p>His love alone has the power to perfect us (1 John 4:18).</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><em><strong>Do you have thoughts and feelings that don&#8217;t belong to Jesus? What do you need to die to in this season to follow Jesus?<br />
</strong></em><br />
</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus wants you to experience an abundant life, but you must first be willing to deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow Jesus.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus says in Matthew 16:24, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">If you want Jesus, you first have to be willing to deny your fleshly desires, live a life of long suffering (carry your cross), and follow Jesus. We allow Holy Spirit to reign in our lives as we choose to die to ourselves. This is when we will see the fruit of the Spirit displayed in our lives: Love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">I’m currently in the newborn season with my son who is 2 months old. Any mother knows how difficult it is to take care of a newborn.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As a mom with a newborn, you have to wake up and feed your baby even though you are tired, be available to feed your baby during times when you may not want to feed them, and constantly give of yourself with long-suffering. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As I go through this season, I’m reminded that we as believers of Jesus too are called to <strong>be ready daily </strong>to deny our fleshly desires, carry our cross, and follow Jesus. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There is beauty and satisfaction in following Jesus, but with it also comes the need for you to carry your cross and die to yourself. </span></p>
<p><em><strong>Will you position yourself daily to deny yourself, carry your cross, and follow Jesus?</strong></em></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Following Jesus will not always be easy, but it is the best decision you can ever make. Jesus is life and when we have Him, we experience an <em><strong>abundant life</strong></em>.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">How would our lives look like if we were to live with the end in mind? Eternity is real and<strong> how we live today</strong> will determine our eternity to come — whether with Jesus or away from Jesus in utter darkness. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As we start this new year, let us continue to <strong>persevere strong</strong>. Jesus promises to save those who persevere and obey His commands until the end. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Hardships and troubles will come, but by the grace of God and through His Holy Spirit living in us, we can persevere and end strong in the Lord. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus says in Revelation 3:10, “Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As believers of Jesus, we are promised to be kept safe from the time when God judges the world in the times of tribulation (the trumpets and bowl judgements). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><em><strong>Will you set in your mind and heart every day to take up your cross, persevere, and follow Jesus?<br />
</strong></em><br />
</span>So remember, <em><strong>take up your cross and persevere. </strong></em></p>
<p><b><i>Prayer:</i></b><i>  Jesus, thank You for being our strength and daily bread. Help us deny our flesh, seek You each day, and walk in Your truth. In every challenge, remind us of the life and joy found in surrendering to You.</i></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The beauty of hardships is seeing God’s faithfulness carry us through. It is difficult to go through hardships, but God is still with us despite the hard times. <em>There is beauty in hardships</em>. </span></p>
<p>Hardships are not bad when we use them as an opportunity to<em><strong> find God&#8217;s power and strength</strong> </em>to sustain us.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">My second labor with my newborn was much harder than my first one. I was expecting it to be easier because I came into it with more faith than during my labor with my first child.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">To my surprise, this second time around was so painful that I didn’t think I could continue delivering my baby without an epidural. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Praise God that by the time I did ask for an epidural, I was already 9.5 cm dilated and ready to push my baby out. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">I questioned why God didn’t give me a painless delivery, but in my questioning, God reminded me of the beauty of my hard labor which was seeing God’s miraculous power sustain me through. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Paul in the Bible went through many hardships yet he was able to find contentment through Jesus. Paul says in Philippians 4:12-13, “I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well-fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through Christ who gives me strength.”</span></p>
<p><strong>Jesus</strong> was the key to helping Paul go through hard times.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As we cling to Jesus during hard times, we will find His strength sustain us through. The beauty of hardships is that it allows us see that <strong>we can do <em>all things through Christ </em></strong>who gives us strength. </span></p>
<p>Speak this over yourself: <span style="font-weight: 400;">I can do all this through Christ who gives me strength. </span></p>
<p><em>No matter what you are facing, will you look to Jesus and trust in His power to sustain you?</em></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">You can do all things through Jesus who gives you strength. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">When you’re facing hard times, instead of complaining, <strong>take joy </strong>and remember that there is an opportunity for you to grow in perseverance and come out stronger in the Lord. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">God reminds us in James 1:2-4, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We can rejoice as we go through hardships when we remember that<strong> God works all things out for our good for those who love Him</strong> (Romans 8:28). Sometimes the good work God is doing through us may not be comfortable, but we are <strong>being </strong><em>conformed into the image of Jesus</em>.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The beauty of hardships is seeing <strong>Jesus sustain us and seeing ourselves become more like Jesus.</strong> God is close to the brokenhearted and it is during hard times that we can gain deeper revelations of God’s love for us through Jesus.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Paul in the Bible went through many hardships such as beatings and prison. At one point, many believed he had died from being stoned and dragged outside the city, yet after His disciples surrounded him, Paul got up and went back on a mission to share the gospel (Acts 14:19-20).</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Paul went through hardships and was hard-pressed, yet not crushed. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">How? Because of the power of Jesus working in Him and through Him. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Paul says in 2 Corinthians 4:7-11, “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed— always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Our bodies are just earthen vessels (or like jars of clay that are easily breakable), yet we can be hard-pressed but <em>not crushed</em>, confused but <em>not in despair</em>, persecuted but <em>not forsaken</em>, and struck down but <em>not destroyed</em> because of the power of God living in us through Jesus.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It’s easy to question God’s love for us when we are going through hard times. We may think, “Where is God? Why am I going through this pain?”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">While our hardships and pain may be real, we must remember that <strong>God too i</strong></span><strong>s real and still with us. </strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Our hardships are opportunities for us to find God real and see His power and grace sustain us when we could never persevere without Him. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">We can conquer our hardships and not be crushed through the love and power of Jesus. </span></p>
<p><em>Will you look to Jesus for strength no matter what you are facing? Will you trust that He is for you and not against you?</em></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">(Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭31‬-‭32‬).</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Nothing can separate you from God’s love — <strong><em>not even hardships</em>.</strong> Jesus tells us that we will face hardships but that we can have courage because He has overcome the world, which means that we too will overcome our hardships through Jesus. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Romans 8‬:‭35‬, ‭37‬-‭39‬ says, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Through Christ, we can conquer our hardships by persevering. Our perseverance is proof of God’s love sustaining us. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Remember what Romans 8:27 says, “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.&#8221;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Not even death can separate us from God’s love because in Jesus we have eternal life. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Trust that Jesus is always with you. Lean on His Word and strength when times get hard and you will find His love real to sustain you. Ask the Holy Spirit for Bible verses for strength and courage in difficult times.</span></p>
<p>So remember, <em><strong>there is beauty in hardships. </strong></em></p>
<p><b><i>Prayer:</i></b><i> Jesus, thank You for being our strength in times of hardship. Help us to see the beauty in every trial as You sustain and transform us through Your love. Teach us to trust in Your power and rejoice, knowing that nothing can separate us from Your unfailing love.</i></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It is important that we keep the faith and not drift away from the Bible. Learn how to fight the good fight of faith and stay rooted in Jesus. <strong>Keep the faith</strong>. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There will be days when we will get discouraged, have lack of faith, or be tempted to drift away from God&#8217;s Word, but in those moments, we must recognize our need for Jesus and seek Him so that we may <strong>abide in Him and His truth that is in the Bible. </strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">You can stay faithful to Jesus as you lean on Him — He is faithful to finish the good work He started in you (Phil. 1:6). ‭Jesus also promises that as we abide in Him, we will bear much fruit (John 15:5). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We can stay faithful to Jesus because <strong>He is faithful</strong> to keep us in the faith and keep our whole spirit, soul, and body blameless at His coming back (1 Thess. 5:22). </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">He who calls you is faithful (1 Thessalonians 5:23). Our job is to abide in Jesus and He produces the fruit of the Spirit in us. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus doesn’t promise us a life without troubles, but He does promise to help and<strong> strengthen us </strong>in times of need. He tells us in John 16:33, “In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus is seated on the throne in heaven — He has overcome death and in Him we are promised victory and eternal life. </span></p>
<p><strong>No matter what you are facing today, will you cling to Jesus and His Word?</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Paul was an apostle in the Bible who experienced much hardship including persecution, yet God strengthened and protected him to finish strong. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Paul says in 2 Thessalonians 3:3, “<em>But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.</em>”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We face battles every day, but the good battles we are called to fight are ones where we fight to <strong>keep the faith</strong> and take hold of eternal life. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">God tells us that the fight of our faith is a “good fight”, a fight we should all be pursuing to keep ourselves from departing from Jesus. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">1 Tim. 6:11-12 says, “<em>But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness. Fight the <strong>good fight </strong>of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.</em>”</span></p>
<p><strong>Will you continue to pursue righteousness and walk in step with the Holy Spirit?</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There is nothing more precious on this earth than our eternity with Jesus.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Our walk of faith matters. </strong>Jesus died on the cross to reconcile us with His blood and present us blameless <strong>if indeed we continue in the faith</strong>, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel (Colossians 1:21-23). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There is One who will judge our lives at the end of this age and that is Jesus. The opinions of this world won’t matter</span>—<span class="Apple-converted-space"> only </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">the opinion of Jesus will matter. There is only one Lord and One who is seated on the throne (Revelation 4:2). </span></p>
<p><strong>Who are you building your life upon? Are you building your life on things that will pass away or on Jesus who is eternal life?</strong></p>
<p>Jesus is the Word of God so we too need to build our lives according to the Bible and not the latest trends or beliefs. <span style="font-weight: 400;">What we choose to believe in today matters. There is only one who saves and one whom we are called to keep the faith in and that is <strong>in Jesus</strong>. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">2 Timothy 4 warns us that people will only want to hear what they want to hear but not necessarily the truth. Let us be the ones who will stay steadfast in <strong>sound doctrine. </strong>  </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">2 Timothy 4:1-3 says, “In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge: Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.&#8221;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God has given us grace now to be saved in Christ Jesus which teaches us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, that we should live soberly, righteously, and godly as we look towards the glorious day that our Savior Jesus will come back (Titus 2:11-13). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus is looking for faithful lovers who will <strong>abide in Him now </strong>before He comes back. Abiding in Jesus looks like producing the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus (Phil. 1:11). We must be determined to stay rooted in Jesus and in the Bible. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It will be too late to give your life to Jesus and be saved once He comes back again. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Now is our time to make Jesus Lord over our lives and abide in God&#8217;s Word. We don’t want to hear Jesus say to us, “‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” (Matthew 7:23). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus makes it clear that not everyone who says to Him, “Lord, Lord,” shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of God (Matthew 7:21). Jesus </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">is eternal life. Let us not drift away from Jesus, the Savior of our souls. Jesus warns us in Matthew 24:5 that many will come in His name, claiming to be the Messiah and will deceive many.</span></p>
<p>We need to keep the faith in the Bible to stay rooted in Jesus. God&#8217;s Word is flawless and a truth that we can trust now and for eternity. Psalm 18:30 says, &#8220;<em>As for God,<strong> his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless</strong>; he shields all who take refuge in him</em>.&#8221; So remember, <em><strong>keep the faith. </strong></em></p>
<p><b><i>Prayer:</i></b><i> <span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus, we are so grateful that no matter what we are facing, we can cling to You. Help us to stay rooted in You and in Your Word, the Bible, Help us to fight the good fight of faith that we may take hold of eternal life. </span></i></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We need to be vigilant of the devil’s ways so that we do not fall prey to his schemes. We can’t resist the devil if we are not vigilant of his ways. <em>Be vigilant</em>. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It can be easy to ignore the condition of our heart and tolerate negative thoughts. There have been many times when I have tolerated negative thoughts like believing that I’m not beautiful or thoughts like my husband would want to be with someone else.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">You would think I would instantly stop myself from believing these thoughts, but when certain thoughts become so common, it can be easy for us to tolerate them.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It’s important however that we take captive every thought to make it <strong>obedient to Christ</strong> (2 Cor. 10:5). We can easily resist the devil as we choose to submit to God (James 4:7). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Check the condition of your heart by inviting the Holy Spirit in to show you if there is anything dark you have been tolerating within your mind. Proverbs 4:23 says, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Guarding your heart includes <strong>being vigilant</strong> of what you let in your heart and what is in your heart. What is in our hearts will eventually<em> come out i</em>n our actions. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">If we want to be vigilant of the enemy’s ways, we must <strong>be vigilant</strong> over the condition of our hearts. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Guarding your heart is important because anything you tolerate inside your heart will eventually come out <strong>in your actions.</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It’s important to take time every day to check on your heart and guard your heart from anything that would cause you to sin.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The enemy isn’t here to just ruin our day but to <strong>destroy</strong> our souls for eternity. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">1 Peter 5:8 says, &#8220;<sup class="versenum"> </sup>Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, <em><strong>seeking whom he may devour</strong></em>.&#8221; Every day we need to be vigilant of the enemy’s schemes by guarding our hearts against things like offense, hopelessness, anger, jealousy, lust, selfishness, and anything that <em><strong>isn&#8217;t of Jesus.</strong></em></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">When we tolerate the attacks of the enemy, we are inviting him to have room to destroy our souls by leading us to sin. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Resist the devil by refusing to partner with anything dark and instead let the<em> light of Jesus shine over your heart</em> every day.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Don’t let anything shake your faith in Jesus. Stay <strong>rooted and immovable</strong> in the faith, remembering Jesus has defeated the grave and we too will reign with Him in eternity. </span></p>
<p><em><strong>Is there anything in your heart that you have been tolerating that needs to be laid aside and renewed with God&#8217;s truth?</strong></em></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The most important vision we need to have every day before us is to <strong>love Jesus</strong> with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength which includes <em><strong>obeying His commands. </strong></em></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus says in John 14:15, “If you love me, obey my commandments.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The moment we stop living with the vision to love Jesus and obey His commands is when we will start to drift into the path that will lead us <em>to perish</em>. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Proverbs 29:18 says, “<em><strong>Where there is no vision, the people perish</strong></em>: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This world is temporary, but eternity is forever. Let’s live every day not pleasing our fleshly desires but living with the fear of God to <strong>please Him. </strong></span></p>
<p><em><strong>How can you be vigilant over your life and love Jesus better?</strong></em></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus isn’t an option or a preference — He is the light we ALL need. Jesus alone is the one who can fill us with light because He is the <em><strong>light of the world</strong></em> (John 8:12). </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">The solution for every problem is found in Jesus. He is hope, truth, and the source for an abundant life on earth and for eternity. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus promises that when we follow Him, we will <strong>never</strong> walk in darkness (John 8:12). We become bound to sin because we choose to follow our flesh rather than Jesus. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Galatians 5:16 reminds us to “Walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As we choose every day to follow Jesus, we will always be filled with <strong>life and light. </strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Make Psalm 139:23-24 your prayer, “Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” As you invite the Holy Spirit in to inspect your heart, </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">confess anything that is not of God and renew your mind with God&#8217;s truth.</span></p>
<p>So remember, <strong>be vigilant of the devil.</strong></p>
<p><b><i>Prayer:</i></b><i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Jesus, remove anything from our hearts and lives that is distracting us from putting You first and loving you. Let us guard our hearts against the enemy and stay rooted in Jesus. </span></i></p>

		<title>The Joy Of The Cross</title>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus chose the cross because <strong>He chose you.</strong> He endured the cross with joy because He knew you were worth it. You are His reason for the<em> joy of the cross</em>. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There is a </span><b>powerful love </b>that flows from knowing that Jesus took away the wrath we deserved by nailing it to the cross with His own body.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus gave up His life so that we could have life and have it abundantly now and for eternity (John 10:10). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The cross should bring us joy like no other because it has given us the gift of eternal life that is <em><strong>like no other</strong>. </em></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">We get to walk in the victory that the cross afforded us as we believe in our hearts that Jesus is Lord and obey Him. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Colossians 2:14-15 says, “Having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them <strong>by the cross</strong>.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus defeated the enemy’s hold on us by dying on the cross and on the 3rd day He rose from the grave. Jesus suffered greatly, but His reward for His suffering was well worth it. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">He endured the cross because He loves you so much, and God gave His only and begotten Son Jesus because He loves you.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus knew we could only be saved by Him sacrificing Himself on the cross because He is the only perfect one to cleanse us from all our sins and iniquities (1 Peter 1:18:19). </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus suffered greatly for us, but it was all worth it to Him knowing that those who accept Him as their Savior and live in Him will forever be His.</span></p>
<p>Hebrews 12:2 says, &#8220;For the joy set before him he endured the cross&#8230;&#8221;</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The greatest suffering that Jesus experienced on the cross became <em><strong>His greatest joy</strong></em>. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We too can experience joy through suffering because it’s in our sufferings that we know Jesus more intimately.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Only Jesus can make it possible to <em><strong>find joy </strong></em>in our sufferings. How do we find joy in our sufferings? By encountering a revelation of Jesus&#8217;s love for us as we relate our sufferings to His sufferings. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus is the suffering One so when we go through suffering, we get to know Him more in His sufferings.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Isaiah 53:3 says, “He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.” </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">His heart breaks whenever His beloved bride rejects Him. So as we experience rejection and suffering, we get to feel how Jesus feels.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God too promises that He is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). When we go through suffering, we will get to experience the nearness of God like never before. His nearness strengthens us and conforms us to His image.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Christian walk was never meant to be easy, but God promises to walk with us and strengthen us as we carry our cross.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It’s in our dying that we <strong>find life</strong>. “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it” (Luke 9:23).</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There is also a reward for those who suffer for doing nothing wrong. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">1 Peter 3:14 says, “But even if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In Jesus, we are <em><strong>raised up </strong></em>to see from His perspective rather than our limited perspective. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">We get to see beyond the grave and into eternity. What seemed hopeless now is seen with hope. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is what it means to be seated in the heavenly realms — we see from <em><strong>God&#8217;s perspective</strong></em> through the death of Jesus on the cross and His resurrection. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ephesians 2:6 says, “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In Christ, we have the Spirit of God that allows us to understand God’s thoughts which are higher than our thoughts. We have the mind of Christ that allows us to see beyond what our physical eyes see (1 Cor. 2:12,16). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><em><strong>Will you look to Jesus in the midst of your suffering and behold His love as you remember Him as the suffering One? </strong></em>There’s no better place than to be seated in heavenly places with Jesus. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We don’t have to fear anything in life including death because Jesus OVERCAME death and is now ALIVE with the keys of death and hades in His hands. Jesus promises those <em><strong>who are His</strong></em> will have eternal life. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Romans 6:23 says, “The gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” When we choose to believe in Jesus and live in Him, we will never live a day apart from Him now and through the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The doors of death and hades are locked up for the bride of Christ. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">All of this was made possible through the death of Jesus on the cross. He so loved us that He freely gave Himself unto death <em><strong>for us</strong></em>. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">The cross brought Jesus temporary pain but eternal pleasures. You too have to carry your cross, but like Jesus, our cross will lead us to a resurrected life with eternal pleasures forevermore (Psalm 16:11).</span></p>
<p>So remember, <strong>you can experience the joy of the cross.</strong></p>
<p><b><i>Prayer:</i></b><i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Jesus, thank You for what You did on the cross and for showing us such great love. Help us too to find joy in carrying our cross. </span></i></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Worrying is a spiritual burden that weighs us down. The only way to not worry is to <em>just trust God</em>. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Instead of worrying about situations that we can’t control, <strong>just trust God</strong> who has control to do anything. There will be moments in our lives when we will need a miracle, but those are opportunities for <em><strong>God to move</strong></em> in mighty ways. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We just had our last Discover Your Purpose conference and found that every year brings a new challenge. This year we had 1 week to put a band together for the worship part and we didn’t find a keyboard player until the day before the conference.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In previous years we owed almost $2,000 and had 1 week to get the money to put the conference together. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Challenges come, but God <em><strong>has always </strong></em>come through. Instead of worrying, we prayed and God gave the solutions and opened the doors that needed to be opened. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">You may be faced with a struggle beyond your control—<em><strong>will you trust God and look to Him?</strong></em></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God reminds us in Matthew 6:34, “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.” He invites us to “seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to us” (Matthew 6:33). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">When worry and fear come, that is our cue to <em><strong>trust God</strong></em>. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fear can only leave when we choose to <em><strong>give our fears to God</strong></em> and trust that He is able to move for our good. We invite <em><strong>faith or fear</strong></em> by whether we choose to trust God or not. We must always choose <em>faith</em> over fear. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Inviting faith comes as we choose to simply <strong>trust God</strong>. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">There is no point in worrying when we remember we are not in control of our circumstances but that <strong>God is</strong>. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Our job is to seek first His kingdom and righteousness and everything else will be provided for (Matthew 6:33). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God did not call us to worry, but to live faithfully and trust Him. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">We can rest knowing that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28).</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Let’s not forget that we have <strong>a Helper</strong> who is always with us, the Holy Spirit. When we are stressed or afraid, we can turn to the Holy Spirit who will counsel and comfort us. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus says in John 14:26, “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.”<br />
</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Remember that the God of the universe is <strong><em>with you</em></strong>. You don’t need to be afraid because you are never alone when you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><em>How do we trust God?</em> By<strong> looking at Jesus</strong> and not our circumstances. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">When struggles come, <em><strong>look above to Jesus</strong></em> and not down at your circumstances. Psalm 121:1-2 reminds us to look up and remember that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">If we focus on our circumstances, we will be faced with the impossibility. As we focus on Jesus, we invite faith to believe that <strong>He can do the impossible</strong>. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus is above any hardship we will face. He overcame death, so how could He not overcome your setbacks on this earth? </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">He reminds us in John 16:33, “In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There is no other thing or person in this world that can guarantee us anything. Only God can make promises that we can completely trust and only His Word will stand forever at the end (1 Peter 1:24-25). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Let us not lose perspective of who Jesus is in the midst of disappointments and setbacks. Jesus is seated on the right hand of God and He will reign forevermore (Colossians 3:1).</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Instead of worrying about our fears, <strong>remember who God is</strong> and replace every worry with God’s truth. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">David writes in Psalm 56:3, “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.” David wrote this while his life was in danger, but despite his circumstances, he still chose to trust God. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">The verses right before verse 3 say, “Be merciful to me, my God, for my enemies are in hot pursuit; all day long they press their attack. My adversaries pursue me all day long; in their pride, many are attacking me.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Instead of focusing on his circumstances, David chose to <strong>focus on God</strong> and give praise to Him (Psalm 56:4). </span></p>
<p><em><span style="font-weight: 400;">Whatever you may be facing, will you trust God that He is in control and is for you?</span></em></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Whether our lives are in danger or not, we are called to trust God and praise Him. Trust God in <em>all circumstances. </em></span>So remember,<strong> just trust God.</strong></p>
<p><b><i>Prayer:</i></b><i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Jesus, even when we are faced with what seems to be the most difficult situation, may our first response be to not worry but to trust in You. </span></i></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fear will always arise to question what God has spoken, but we must <em>stand firm in faith</em></span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><em>.</em> </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There have been many times when God has asked me to do something that caused me doubt. When God had put in my heart to break up with my ex, I feared whether I would regret the decision. When God told me to let go of my full-time job, I was scared I wouldn’t be financially stable. When God asked me to go to Jesus School, I thought every part of my life would crumble with all the responsibilities I had.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Though doubt filled my mind about the things God has asked me to do, I trusted Him at the end of the day. It was scary, but I chose to rely on my <strong>faith in God</strong> rather than my fears.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God came through in every area of my life where I obeyed Him, <em>despite the fearful feelings I had</em>. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The breakup led me to an accelerated time of growing in Jesus and meeting my husband, leaving my full-time job launched me into establishing Living Revelations and our business, and my life all around was double blessed from going to Jesus school. </span></p>
<h4><span style="font-weight: 400;">The outcome of following Jesus and not our fears is <em>a <strong>blessed life</strong></em>.</span></h4>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">My journey of trusting God with all my heart isn’t over, and yours isn’t either.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Doubt will always arise to <em><strong>test </strong></em>what God has spoken. In these moments, we need to <strong>stand firm in faith</strong> and believe that God knows best.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The enemy will always use fear and doubt to pull us away from trusting God. It’s in these moments when we must make the choice to <em><strong>stand firm in faith</strong></em> and trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">If we want to stand firm against the enemy’s schemes, we NEED to put on the full armor of God daily. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ephesians 6:13 says, “Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The enemy will try to attack our faith, so it is crucial that we stand firm by having God’s truth ready as our buckle, the breastplate of righteousness to guard our heart, the shield of faith to cast down all doubts, the sword of the Spirit to tear every thought that speaks against the knowledge of God, praying in the Spirit for His divine protection, and the helmet of salvation to know that we belong to Jesus (Ephesians 6:13-18). ‭</span></p>
<h4><span style="font-weight: 400;"><em><strong>Will you be ready to use the armor of God daily when fear, doubt, and any sinful throughts arise? </strong></em></span></h4>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Our understanding of God and our circumstances are limited, so why lean on something that is so blinding? Let us lean on the voice and guidance of Jesus, trusting that <strong>He is always for our good</strong>.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Has God spoken a promise to you that sounded too crazy and impossible? When we look to the promise, it may seem impossible, but when we look to our God who made the promise, <strong><em>anything is possible</em></strong>. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Faith arises as we look to God who can do the impossible (Mark 10:27).</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Hebrews 11:11 says, “by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered Him faithful who had made the promise.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God had promised Abraham and Sarah that they would bear a child even though Abraham and Sarah were past the age to be able to have children. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">God spoke it, and by faith it happened. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">To trust God with all your heart means to trust Him even when you don’t understand the “why” behind your circumstances.</span></p>
<p><em><strong>Whatever God has spoken to you, will you trust Him and stand firm in faith no matter how impossible it may seem? <span style="font-weight: 400;">Will you lean on God and not your fears? </span></strong></em></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fear will only <em><strong>pull us away</strong></em> from the best that God has for us. The enemy uses fear to pull us away from obeying what God is asking us to do. This is why we need to replace every fearful thought with God’s Word and what He has spoken to us. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Faith is doing what God says </span><b><i>despite </i></b>what our fears may be.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In Jeremiah 42, we see the Israelites fearful of living under the king of Babylon. God however tells Israel through the prophet Jeremiah saying, “Do not be afraid of the king of Babylon, whom you now fear. Do not be afraid of him, declares the Lord, for I am with you and will save you and deliver you from his hands. I will show you compassion so that he will have compassion on you and restore you to your land” (Jeremiah 42:11-12). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Unfortunately, the Israelites and official leaders listened to their fears. Instead of stepping out in faith and trusting God, they did the very thing that God told them not to do which was to go back to Egypt. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Egypt was their comfort zone because they remembered their lives were spared and food was provided though they were slaves. God however tells them if they go back to Egypt, the sword they fear will overtake them and the famine they dread will follow them into Egypt and they will die (Jeremiah‬ ‭42:16‬).</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Because the Israelites acted out of fear instead of faith, they faced famine and death. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Let us remember to do what God says and <em>not what is comfortable to us</em>. Our fears may feel real and valid, but <em><strong>only what God says can be trusted. </strong></em></span></p>
<h4><em><strong>Will you hold onto God&#8217;s Word with full confidence despite what you feel?</strong></em></h4>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God has amazing plans for you, but it’s going to require you to walk by faith and follow Jesus in every step you do. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">You can <em><strong>rely</strong></em> on God’s faithfulness and expect Him to stay true to His Word and promises. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">God is not human that He should lie (Numbers 23:19). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There is nothing good outside of Jesus. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">“But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him” (Jeremiah 17:7). </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">So remember, stand firm in faith.</span></p>
<p><b><i>Prayer:</i></b><i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Jesus, let our faith always be stronger than our fears. We place our confidence in You and hold onto Your word because You always come through for us. </span></i></p>

		<title>But I Don&#8217;t Feel Like It</title>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>You can rely on God‘s power to strengthen you during times when you say, &#8220;<em>but I don&#8217;t feel like it</em>&#8220;. His power is able to strengthen your inner man. When you don’t feel like it, run to Jesus.</p>
<p>There are days when I don&#8217;t feel like being nice, and recently I had one of those days. I was feeling the pressure of having to take care of many different things, being a wife and a mother, while also managing ministry and our business. Some things happened that morning where I then gave in to my emotions and bursted into anger at my husband.</p>
<p>Afterward, God reminded me that the reason I gave in to my feelings was because I wasn&#8217;t <em>abiding in Jesus</em>. I hadn&#8217;t spent sufficient time with Jesus that morning and my heart was nowhere postured towards Him.</p>
<p>Jesus makes it clear in John 15:5 that if we abide in Him, we will bear much fruit; apart from Him, we can do nothing. If we want to bear the fruit of the Spirit, which is <em>love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control</em>, we <strong>MUST abide in Jesus</strong>. We need to keep our eyes fixed on Him and our hearts one with Him.</p>
<p>Let us walk in step with the Holy Spirit. We have the choice every day to give in to our flesh or to give in to the Holy Spirit. It takes our <em>daily surrender</em> to walk by the Holy Spirit, and when we do, it is <em>well worth it</em>. No one wants anger, worry, hatred, and impatience in their heart. We can bear the fruit of the Spirit as we abide and walk by the Spirit. Let&#8217;s make a conscious effort to surrender our ways to the Holy Spirit daily and be in thanksgiving. As we look to Jesus, walking like Him becomes easier.</p>
<p><em>Will you continue to walk by the Spirit despite how you feel?</em></p>
<p>Don&#8217;t settle with staying in bondage to your struggles. We may feel like we will never overcome our struggles; however, Jesus came to <strong>set us free</strong> from the bondage of anxiety, worry, anger, lust, and all other sins. Jesus didn&#8217;t die on the cross for us to be subjected to the trauma we may have experienced or the sin that has entangled us. Jesus came so that we would be victorious, walking out in <em>complete freedom</em>. Not having complete freedom is not freedom at all. Press into Jesus and fight for <em>full freedom</em> from sin. Freedom requires us to daily surrender our thoughts, feelings, and emotions to Jesus and replace them with God&#8217;s truth.</p>
<p>As you anchor your hope in His faithfulness, your strength will be renewed. No obstacle or hardship is too great for Jesus to get you through. He is willing and able to strengthen and comfort you through every pain. As we surrender our lives to Jesus, we will find His power working in our lives to keep going. Ephesians 3:16 says, &#8220;<em>I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being&#8230;</em>&#8221; We have the Holy Spirit who has the power to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20).</p>
<p><em>Will you lean on Jesus even when you don&#8217;t feel like it?</em></p>
<p>Let us be effective believers by adding to our faith goodness, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, mutual affection, and love (2 Peter 1:5-9). While there may be times when it may feel hard to have self-control or to love others, the Holy Spirit helps us live like Christ as we <em>surrender ourselves daily</em>. We must turn to Jesus when we are struggling and come to Him with the expectancy that <strong>He will change us</strong>. God always rewards those who seek Him with faith (Hebrews 11:6). So remember, <strong>when you don&#8217;t feel like it, run to Jesus</strong>.</p>
<p><em><strong>Prayer:</strong></em> Jesus, thank you for your Holy Spirit dwelling with me and doing life with me. Help me to listen to your voice even when I don&#8217;t feel like it.</p>
