										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p data-start="221" data-end="401">The bride of Christ is called to be pure and set apart from the world. A faithful bride only cares to be seen by her husband. Learn what it means to be <em>the bride of Christ</em>.</p>
<p data-start="403" data-end="500">I struggled with insecurity and thought being married would cure it. Marriage only made it worse.</p>
<p data-start="502" data-end="579">My husband struggled with lust and fell into pornography during our early years of marriage. I didn’t know how to love him back or myself. Now that I reflect on these years, I am not surprised that I was anxious and shaken.</p>
<p data-start="713" data-end="847">When our source of love is in the hands of imperfect people (we are all imperfect), our identity will be shaken, and we will be prone to having an insecure heart.</p>
<p data-start="849" data-end="981">If we want a perfect and whole heart, we need to be <strong>rooted in a love that is perfect</strong>. That perfect love can only come through Jesus.</p>
<p data-start="983" data-end="1075"><strong>God&#8217;s love alone is perfect </strong>and has the power to perfect us (<a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/114/1JN.2.5.NKJV" target="_blank" rel="noopener">1 John 2:5</a>).</p>
<p data-start="1077" data-end="1291">I had to learn and still am learning to be rooted in God&#8217;s love. The truth is, we can all have access to an intimate, deep love from our husband, Jesus, if we surrender our lives to Him and choose to seek Him.</p>
<p data-start="1293" data-end="1511">We can extend unconditional love to others when we actively receive the unconditional love Jesus has given us. We can only be secure in who we are when we have the revelation of how much we are loved and seen by Jesus.</p>
<h2 data-start="1293" data-end="1511">You are the Bride of Christ</h2>
<p data-start="1513" data-end="1603">Who is the bride of Christ? It is those who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Jesus desires that all of us be saved and become His bride (<a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/114/1TI.2.3.NKJV" target="_blank" rel="noopener">1 Timothy 2:3</a>). Jesus came down from heaven and put on flesh so that you and I could <em>be His</em>.</p>
<p data-start="1513" data-end="1603">Jesus did not die for some, <em><strong>but for all</strong></em>. But, we must accept Jesus as our Savior to be His. Saying yes to Jesus is like saying yes to a marriage. In order to be married to someone, we must first say yes, and agree to a covenant that includes being faithful and dying to ourselves to be one with our spouse.</p>
<p data-start="1513" data-end="1603">The concept of marriage is the same as our relationship with Jesus. This is why throughout the Bible, we see the church described as the bride of Christ.</p>
<p data-start="1513" data-end="1603">Revelation 19:7-9 says, &#8220;Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’ ”</p>
<p data-start="1513" data-end="1603">Jesus is coming back for His bride, which is you and I. There is a beautiful wedding supper of the Lamb that is being prepared for us.</p>
<p data-start="5164" data-end="5349">We are already married to Jesus when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior and choose to abide in Him, but our final marriage union with Jesus will be sealed when He comes back for us.</p>
<p data-start="5351" data-end="5518">In Jewish custom, a marriage was first sealed by betrothal, but the couple did not live together until a year later (once the groom had prepared a home for the bride).</p>
<p data-start="5520" data-end="5605">We are now betrothed to Jesus, but He is coming back to officiate our union with Him. Jesus purchased you with His blood, and He is expecting a pure and faithful bride when He comes back.</p>
<p data-start="5858" data-end="6081">You belong to Jesus. Just because you do not physically see Jesus does not mean you are not married to Him.</p>
<p data-start="1513" data-end="1603">We must understand that we are the bride of Christ so that we continue to keep ourselves unspotted from this world (James 1:27).  Jesus is coming back for a <em>pure bride</em>.</p>
<p data-start="1513" data-end="1603"><em>Will you say yes to Jesus? </em></p>
<h2 data-start="1513" data-end="1603">Jesus Loves You</h2>
<p data-start="1513" data-end="1603">Don&#8217;t believe the lie that Jesus does not love you. Many people have a problem with God&#8217;s judgment, questioning God&#8217;s love if hell exists.</p>
<p data-start="1513" data-end="1603">The truth is, we serve a righteous and holy God. God cannot fellowship with what is dark, because he is Light (John 1). But God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).</p>
<p data-start="1513" data-end="1603">God <em><strong>so</strong></em> loved the world, and He so loves you. This is why He sent Jesus to die on the cross, so that our sinful nature and sins could be washed away and we can be His bride. We don&#8217;t serve a dead Bridegroom, but a Bridegroom who is alive. Jesus rose on the 3rd day, and we are promised that the same Holy Spirit who raised Jesus from the grave would raise us up too to have eternal life (<a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/114/ROM.8.11.NKJV" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Romans 8:11</a>).</p>
<p data-start="1513" data-end="1603">Jesus loves you so much. In John 3:36, Jesus says, &#8220;He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”</p>
<p data-start="1513" data-end="1603">Jesus does not want any of us to experience God&#8217;s wrath. May we daily remember the deep love Jesus has for us, our call to be His bride, that we would not forsake Him. There is truly nothing in this world that can compare to Jesus.</p>
<p data-start="1513" data-end="1603"><em>Why do we care about capturing man’s heart when we’ve already captured the heart of Jesus?</em></p>
<p data-start="1605" data-end="1777">‭‭Song of Songs‬ ‭4‬:‭9‬ ‭says, “You have captured my heart, my treasure, my bride. You hold it hostage with one glance of your eyes, with a single jewel of your necklace.”</p>
<p data-start="1605" data-end="1777">Did you know that you have captured the heart of God? He sees you as <em>His treasure.</em></p>
<p><em>A bride only cares to be seen by her husband. <strong>What would it look like to live every day only caring to please our Husband, Jesus? What would it look like to let His love be our source of love, security, and identity?</strong></em></p>
<p data-start="2135" data-end="2250">We are all craving for attention and love, but are we looking to the right person to receive what we actually need?</p>
<p data-start="2252" data-end="2395">To the single person or married person who feels unseen and unloved, know that there is One who is madly in love with you. His name is Jesus. His love is like no other. He surpasses all lovers on this earth because He is God and His love is <strong>perfect and pure</strong> (<a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/114/1JN.4.18.NKJV" target="_blank" rel="noopener">1 John 4:18</a>).</p>
<p data-start="2543" data-end="2663">Jesus cares to search you and know you (<a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/114/PSA.139.1.NKJV" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Psalm 139:1</a>). He even knows your thoughts before a word is spoken (<a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/114/PSA.139.4.NKJV" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Psalm 139:4</a>).</p>
<p data-start="2665" data-end="2726">God is seeking after your heart, but are you seeking after His?</p>
<p data-start="2728" data-end="2861">Jesus willingly suffered and died on the cross to purchase you back to be His bride, if you would accept Him as your Lord and Savior. Stop seeking after the attention of lesser lovers. The lust of the world never satisfies but leaves us empty and bound by sin.</p>
<p data-start="2991" data-end="3073">Seek after a love that<strong> fulfills you and frees you</strong>. <strong>Seek after Jesus. </strong></p>
<h2 data-start="3611" data-end="3834">Intimacy with Jesus</h2>
<p data-start="3080" data-end="3292">We all want to be intimately known, seen, and loved. So many times we look for “lesser lovers”, instead of our ultimate Lover who is Jesus. There is no one who can love you <strong>perfectly like Jesus. </strong></p>
<p data-start="3294" data-end="3358">You were made to be loved, treasured, and sought after by Jesus.</p>
<p data-start="3360" data-end="3523">Sin separated us from God, but God sent Jesus, His only begotten son, to die for us that we could be made right with God if we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior.</p>
<p data-start="3836" data-end="4003">We were made to have an intimate relationship with Jesus. <em><strong>Will you take time to seek Jesus and spend time in the Bible?  </strong></em>Invite the Holy Spirit to reveal Jesus as your bridegroom as you open up the Bible. May our response be to set our hearts only to please Jesus.</p>
<p data-start="4130" data-end="4225">No earthly relationship can be your Savior and fulfill you. <strong>Only Jesus</strong> is your Savior. May we not forget that we have a Lover and Husband, Jesus.</p>
<p data-start="4287" data-end="4447">Isaiah 54:5 says, “For your Maker is your husband—the Lord Almighty is his name—the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; he is called the God of all the earth.”</p>
<p data-start="4449" data-end="4521">If you are battling with insecurity, fear, or loneliness, turn to Jesus. You were made to have an intimate relationship with Jesus.</p>
<p data-start="4583" data-end="4727">Apart from God, we will experience loneliness, insecurity, anxiety, and all other darknesses because only in Jesus can we be whole and complete. His love alone is what perfects us (<a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/114/1JN.4.18.NKJV" target="_blank" rel="noopener">1 John 4:18</a>).</p>
<p data-start="6088" data-end="6191">We can’t create a pure heart in our own strength. Only God can create in us a pure heart (Psalm 51:10). What is our part then to be found spotless, blameless, and at peace with God? To <strong>actively live a surrendered life </strong>to Jesus. As the <strong>bride of Christ</strong>, we are called to make every effort to be found spotless, blameless, and at peace with God (<a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/114/2PE.3.14.NKJV" target="_blank" rel="noopener">2 Peter 3:14</a>).</p>
<p data-start="6347" data-end="6497">This looks like going to Jesus when you’re feeling hurt, angry, sad, anxious, envious, lustful, etc., and allowing His love and truth to wash over you. As we come to Jesus with an open heart to receive His love, His love purifies and perfects our broken hearts.</p>
<p data-start="4984" data-end="5162"><em>Are we living every day, preparing ourselves as the bride of Jesus? Are we setting our hearts apart to be holy and pure for when He comes back to completely take us as His bride? </em>God wants you to live every day knowing that you are the bride of Christ. Satisfaction and fulfillment come from being rooted and established in God’s love.</p>
<p data-start="6808" data-end="6937">So remember, <strong>you are the Bride of Christ</strong>.</p>
<p data-start="6959" data-end="7389"><b><i>Prayer: </i></b>Jesus, thank You for loving us with a perfect and faithful love. Forgive us for seeking fulfillment, validation, and security from lesser lovers instead of from You. Create in us a clean heart and help us to surrender every broken place to You. May we desire to please You above all else as we prepare for the day You return for us. Amen.</p>

		<title>The Simplicity of Loving Jesus</title>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It can be easy to fall into the trap of doing things for Jesus but forgetting to love Him in the process. Let us not forget the<em> simplicity of loving Jesus.</em></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">During prayer, God reminded me that He just wants our love — beyond reading the Bible, obeying God, worshipping Him, and all else that He asks us to do, He is after <strong>our <em>love and devotion</em>. </strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It can be easy to get in the mode of, “I have to spend time with Jesus”, or “I have to worship Him”, etc. But what if our “I have to” turned into “<em>I want to”</em>? </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God’s greatest commandment is that we love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30-31). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We can love Jesus rightly as we take time every day to <strong>receive His love first</strong>. We love because He first loved us (1 John 4:19).</span></p>
<p>Our relationship with Jesus is a marriage. We are called the bride of Christ (Revelation 19:7-9, Revelation 21:2). In my own marriage, when life gets busy, I can easily forget to enjoy my husband in the midst of all the tasks that have to be done.  The same thing can happen in our relationship with Jesus. May we never lose the joy of simply <em>loving Jesus.</em></p>
<h2>Receiving the love of Jesus</h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">How do we receive the love of Jesus? By simply looking to Jesus and what He did for you on the cross. There is no greater way for Jesus to prove His love for us than His death on the cross. Yes, Jesus can bless us here on earth, but nothing will ever compare to the sacrificial love He showed us by coming as a man (though He was God), and dying a painful death on the cross for our sins.</span></p>
<p>Hebrews 12:2 says, &#8220;Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.&#8221;</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Invite the Holy Spirit to give you a revelation of the sufferings of Jesus and His deep love for you. As we meditate and remember the love of Jesus and how patient, kind, and loving He is toward us, we become empowered to love Jesus back. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We don’t deserve to be God’s children and have eternal life because we were all born into sin, but God still chose to make a way for us to be His by sending Jesus to die for us so that we might be made right with God when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ephesians 1:5-7 says, “God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son. He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Take time every day to meditate on God’s love for you. Find scriptures to memorize so that you can be rooted in the love of Jesus. </span></p>
<p>As we meditate on God&#8217;s Word and are rooted in Christ, we will grow our love for the Word of God, who is Jesus Himself. Psalm 119:97 says, &#8220;Oh, how I love your law! I meditate on it all day long.&#8221;</p>
<p>As you set your gaze on the Word of God, you are setting your gaze on <em>Jesus Himself</em>, who is the Word made into flesh (John 1:14).</p>
<h2>Living out our love for Jesus</h2>
<p>Do you live every day <strong>convinced that God loves you? </strong>The enemy wants us to doubt God’s love, but let us not forget how greatly God loves us that He chose to give His only begotten Son, Jesus, to die for us that we may be right with God and have eternal life (John 3:16).</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The greatest gift that we could ever have is salvation in Jesus. God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, to come as a man, though He was in glory with God, to die for us so that we could be set free from sin and be made right with God now and for eternity. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">1 John 3:1 says, “See<em><strong> how very much</strong> </em>our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are…”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God loves you so much. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Take time to ponder the mercy and kindness God has shown you. God&#8217;s love will always be enough to fill you. Don’t allow your fears or circumstances to make you doubt that God loves you. Set your heart on the love of Jesus so that you can love Him back rightly.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Life is about loving Jesus. Jesus wants <em>our love</em>. Yes, we are called to serve Him, but to serve out of our love for Him. </span>So remember, the <em><strong>simplicity of loving Jesus every day.  </strong></em></p>
<p><b><i>Prayer:</i></b><i> Jesus, help me to always remember the gift of salvation and the depth of Your love for me. When distractions pull me away, remind me that You are my greatest treasure. Thank You for choosing me, loving me, and calling me Your own. May my heart be fully devoted to You.</i></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We may think we have a relationship with God, but do we really have one? Learn <em>how to have a relationship with God</em>.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We are not in a real relationship with God if we set our own rules and define who God is. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Being in a relationship with God will require us to<em><strong> know Him and submit to Him</strong></em>. God is a Person, meaning He has a personality, values, and character. It is our job to know who God is and submit to His commands because <em>He is God</em>. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God has given us the Bible, which displays who He is and His heart. To say we have a relationship with God but do not know or abide in His Word means we think we have a relationship with God but we don’t have a real relationship with God.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A true relationship with God means we know Him and choose daily to seek and submit to Him. God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, to redeem our relationship with Him. It is through Jesus that we can know Him. </span></p>
<h3>We can know God through Jesus</h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We can’t separate Jesus from our relationship with God. To know God is to <em><strong>know Jesus,</strong></em> and it is through Jesus that we can have a relationship with God.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">John 14:6-7 says, “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus is the only way to know God and have eternal life. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">If knowing Jesus is the way to know God, how do we know Jesus? </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The answer is the Bible. The Bible is the Word of God and Jesus is the Word. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">John 1:1,14 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Because Jesus is the Word of God, we also cannot separate the Bible from God. The Bible is our access to know the heart of God and be transformed.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">From the very beginning, we see that God desired for His people to be set apart and holy. Now we get to consecrate ourselves by living in Jesus, whose blood has also cleansed us and made us holy in God’s sight. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">May we not lose reverence for God’s holiness and willfully live in sin and darkness. God has shown us great mercy by giving His only begotten Son, Jesus, to die for us so that we may be saved and right with God if we accept Jesus as our Savior by faith. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God is holy so we too are called to be holy and <strong>live set apart</strong> from the world’s ways. </span></p>
<p><em><strong>How can you set yourself apart from the darkness of this world?</strong></em></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus is the light of the world and He promises that those who follow Him will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life (John 8:12).</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">How we live <strong>does<em> matter </em></strong><em>to Jesus</em>. I used to think I could still be saved and be a Christian even though I was living a sexually immoral life with my boyfriend at the time. What I failed to realize was that my lifestyle was rejecting Jesus. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus died for us so that we would be free of sin and receive His Spirit to live in Him. He came so that we would be one with Him, but if we choose to live in sin, we are rejecting the One who is life. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God says in 1 Cor. 6:15-20, “Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never! Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.” But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit. Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”</span></p>
<h3>Our Relationship with God is a marriage</h3>
<p>God designed marriage to be <em>holy,</em> and He designed our relationship with Him to be a marriage. This means our relationship with God must be holy.  <span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus calls the church His bride and tells husbands and wives to submit to one another (Ephesians 5:21), so we too ought to submit to God. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus says in Matthew 16:24, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.” Having a relationship with God will require us to deny ourselves and<strong> daily say yes to Him. Our commitment to God was made to be a commitment like marriage. </strong></span></p>
<h3>Our Relationship with God brings us freedom</h3>
<p>If you find yourself bound in sin, the good news is you can always come to Jesus for<strong><em> forgiveness and freedom</em></strong>.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus came to set us free from sin, but if we choose to stay in sin, what He did on the cross for us can no longer cover our sins (Hebrews 10:26-27). </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">To be accepted by God does not mean we stay in our sin. To be accepted by God is an invitation to accept Jesus, His only begotten son, to live in us that we may be set free from sin and darkness. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We were all born into sin. Not all of our natural desires are pure and godly, but Jesus came to set us free from sin and live in freedom by dying for us and resurrecting from the dead so that we may have His Holy Spirit live in us and empower us to live a holy life. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭11‬-‭13‬ says, “The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you. Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do. For if you live by its dictates, you will die. But if through the power of the Spirit, you put to death the deeds of your sinful nature, you will live.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Once we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are to walk by the Spirit and deny our sinful desires so that we may be saved. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">God accepts you as you are, but expects you to change and walk into His light by accepting His son Jesus.</span></p>
<p><em><strong>Is there anything in your life that you need to change to follow Jesus and receive Him who is eternal life?</strong></em></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There is nothing in this world that is worth separating our relationship with God.</span></p>
<p>So remember, have a real relationship with God<em>.</em></p>
<p><b><i>Prayer:</i></b><i> <span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus, thank you for sending us your only begotten Son, Jesus, and making way for us to have a relationship with Him through You. Thank You for the Word so that we can get to know You and grow deeper in our relationship with You. </span></i></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p dir="auto">We need Jesus to take up our cross and persevere during hard times. Learn how to<em> take up your cross and follow Jesus daily</em>.</p>
<p dir="auto"><span style="font-weight: 400;">It’s not enough to just read our Bible to cross it off our to-do list — we need a <em>revelation of Jesus</em> in the Word every day to receive Him as our daily bread which gives us strength to <strong>live in Him. </strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We can’t afford to live a day without abiding in Jesus and partaking in him. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Just as we need food to operate, we too need Jesus for strength to walk by the Holy Spirit and not our flesh.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We will grow weary if we try to do life without a fresh revelation of Jesus every day. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">I find that as a mom with a newborn and toddler, annoyance creeps in very quickly, causing me to be mean and not like Jesus if I don’t take time throughout the day to remain in Jesus and meditate on His word. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We must take time throughout the day to seek Jesus in the Bible and ask Him to open up the Word to strengthen us. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Start your day with the desire and hunger to encounter Jesus and receive Him as your<em><strong> daily bread</strong></em>. Make Matthew 6:11 your daily prayer: “Give us this day our daily bread.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Every day you must be ready to take up your cross <em><strong>deny your flesh. </strong></em></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The temptation to complain, be angry, lust, feel afraid, and more will arise, but we must say no to these thoughts and feelings. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">To be a disciple of Jesus will require you to take up your cross and deny your fleshly desires</span>—<span style="font-weight: 400;">die to what is sinful by submitting to God and following Him. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We must deny our flesh if we want to experience the <em>life and love of Jesus</em>. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Our fleshly desires is what holds us back from truly receiving Jesus. If we would choose to let go of our annoyances, pain, and other sinful thoughts and instead fix our eyes on Jesus, we will then be filled with His love, peace, and joy. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A life of <strong>self-denial and embracing Jesus</strong> is the way to follow Jesus. This does not mean that we ignore our feelings, but rather allow our feelings<em> to draw near to Jesus</em>. When we bring our emotions to Jesus, He make room for Him to fills us with His love to remove all that is not of Him. </span></p>
<p>His love alone has the power to perfect us (1 John 4:18).</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><em><strong>Do you have thoughts and feelings that don&#8217;t belong to Jesus? What do you need to die to in this season to follow Jesus?<br />
</strong></em><br />
</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus wants you to experience an abundant life, but you must first be willing to deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow Jesus.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus says in Matthew 16:24, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">If you want Jesus, you first have to be willing to deny your fleshly desires, live a life of long suffering (carry your cross), and follow Jesus. We allow Holy Spirit to reign in our lives as we choose to die to ourselves. This is when we will see the fruit of the Spirit displayed in our lives: Love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">I’m currently in the newborn season with my son who is 2 months old. Any mother knows how difficult it is to take care of a newborn.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As a mom with a newborn, you have to wake up and feed your baby even though you are tired, be available to feed your baby during times when you may not want to feed them, and constantly give of yourself with long-suffering. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As I go through this season, I’m reminded that we as believers of Jesus too are called to <strong>be ready daily </strong>to deny our fleshly desires, carry our cross, and follow Jesus. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There is beauty and satisfaction in following Jesus, but with it also comes the need for you to carry your cross and die to yourself. </span></p>
<p><em><strong>Will you position yourself daily to deny yourself, carry your cross, and follow Jesus?</strong></em></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Following Jesus will not always be easy, but it is the best decision you can ever make. Jesus is life and when we have Him, we experience an <em><strong>abundant life</strong></em>.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">How would our lives look like if we were to live with the end in mind? Eternity is real and<strong> how we live today</strong> will determine our eternity to come — whether with Jesus or away from Jesus in utter darkness. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As we start this new year, let us continue to <strong>persevere strong</strong>. Jesus promises to save those who persevere and obey His commands until the end. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Hardships and troubles will come, but by the grace of God and through His Holy Spirit living in us, we can persevere and end strong in the Lord. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus says in Revelation 3:10, “Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As believers of Jesus, we are promised to be kept safe from the time when God judges the world in the times of tribulation (the trumpets and bowl judgements). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><em><strong>Will you set in your mind and heart every day to take up your cross, persevere, and follow Jesus?<br />
</strong></em><br />
</span>So remember, <em><strong>take up your cross and persevere. </strong></em></p>
<p><b><i>Prayer:</i></b><i>  Jesus, thank You for being our strength and daily bread. Help us deny our flesh, seek You each day, and walk in Your truth. In every challenge, remind us of the life and joy found in surrendering to You.</i></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It is important that we keep the faith and not drift away from the Bible. Learn how to fight the good fight of faith and stay rooted in Jesus. <strong>Keep the faith</strong>. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There will be days when we will get discouraged, have lack of faith, or be tempted to drift away from God&#8217;s Word, but in those moments, we must recognize our need for Jesus and seek Him so that we may <strong>abide in Him and His truth that is in the Bible. </strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">You can stay faithful to Jesus as you lean on Him — He is faithful to finish the good work He started in you (Phil. 1:6). ‭Jesus also promises that as we abide in Him, we will bear much fruit (John 15:5). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We can stay faithful to Jesus because <strong>He is faithful</strong> to keep us in the faith and keep our whole spirit, soul, and body blameless at His coming back (1 Thess. 5:22). </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">He who calls you is faithful (1 Thessalonians 5:23). Our job is to abide in Jesus and He produces the fruit of the Spirit in us. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus doesn’t promise us a life without troubles, but He does promise to help and<strong> strengthen us </strong>in times of need. He tells us in John 16:33, “In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus is seated on the throne in heaven — He has overcome death and in Him we are promised victory and eternal life. </span></p>
<p><strong>No matter what you are facing today, will you cling to Jesus and His Word?</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Paul was an apostle in the Bible who experienced much hardship including persecution, yet God strengthened and protected him to finish strong. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Paul says in 2 Thessalonians 3:3, “<em>But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.</em>”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We face battles every day, but the good battles we are called to fight are ones where we fight to <strong>keep the faith</strong> and take hold of eternal life. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">God tells us that the fight of our faith is a “good fight”, a fight we should all be pursuing to keep ourselves from departing from Jesus. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">1 Tim. 6:11-12 says, “<em>But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness. Fight the <strong>good fight </strong>of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.</em>”</span></p>
<p><strong>Will you continue to pursue righteousness and walk in step with the Holy Spirit?</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There is nothing more precious on this earth than our eternity with Jesus.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Our walk of faith matters. </strong>Jesus died on the cross to reconcile us with His blood and present us blameless <strong>if indeed we continue in the faith</strong>, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel (Colossians 1:21-23). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There is One who will judge our lives at the end of this age and that is Jesus. The opinions of this world won’t matter</span>—<span class="Apple-converted-space"> only </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">the opinion of Jesus will matter. There is only one Lord and One who is seated on the throne (Revelation 4:2). </span></p>
<p><strong>Who are you building your life upon? Are you building your life on things that will pass away or on Jesus who is eternal life?</strong></p>
<p>Jesus is the Word of God so we too need to build our lives according to the Bible and not the latest trends or beliefs. <span style="font-weight: 400;">What we choose to believe in today matters. There is only one who saves and one whom we are called to keep the faith in and that is <strong>in Jesus</strong>. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">2 Timothy 4 warns us that people will only want to hear what they want to hear but not necessarily the truth. Let us be the ones who will stay steadfast in <strong>sound doctrine. </strong>  </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">2 Timothy 4:1-3 says, “In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge: Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.&#8221;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God has given us grace now to be saved in Christ Jesus which teaches us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, that we should live soberly, righteously, and godly as we look towards the glorious day that our Savior Jesus will come back (Titus 2:11-13). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus is looking for faithful lovers who will <strong>abide in Him now </strong>before He comes back. Abiding in Jesus looks like producing the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus (Phil. 1:11). We must be determined to stay rooted in Jesus and in the Bible. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It will be too late to give your life to Jesus and be saved once He comes back again. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Now is our time to make Jesus Lord over our lives and abide in God&#8217;s Word. We don’t want to hear Jesus say to us, “‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” (Matthew 7:23). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus makes it clear that not everyone who says to Him, “Lord, Lord,” shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of God (Matthew 7:21). Jesus </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">is eternal life. Let us not drift away from Jesus, the Savior of our souls. Jesus warns us in Matthew 24:5 that many will come in His name, claiming to be the Messiah and will deceive many.</span></p>
<p>We need to keep the faith in the Bible to stay rooted in Jesus. God&#8217;s Word is flawless and a truth that we can trust now and for eternity. Psalm 18:30 says, &#8220;<em>As for God,<strong> his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless</strong>; he shields all who take refuge in him</em>.&#8221; So remember, <em><strong>keep the faith. </strong></em></p>
<p><b><i>Prayer:</i></b><i> <span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus, we are so grateful that no matter what we are facing, we can cling to You. Help us to stay rooted in You and in Your Word, the Bible, Help us to fight the good fight of faith that we may take hold of eternal life. </span></i></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">When negative thoughts arise, that is our opportunity to abide in Christ. Learn <strong>how to abide in Christ</strong> and how to overcome negative thoughts no matter what you may be facing. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We are prone to stress and grumble when we do things without Jesus. My days can get super busy, especially with a toddler and newborn, but as I take time to slow down my thoughts and look to Jesus, I am filled with His peace and love. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">When complaints arise in my mind, I am reminded to fill my thoughts with gratitude as I look to Jesus. I find that negative thoughts leave as I fill my heart with gratitude for Jesus and His love for me. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">When negative thoughts come,<strong> that is our cue to turn to abide in Jesus</strong>.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">With Jesus, we can overcome negative thoughts that come our way. The flesh will always gravitate us towards grumbling and finding the wrongs in our lives, but we are to put off our fleshy desires and put on Christ (Ephesians 4:24). Jesus invites us to <strong>abide in Him</strong> always so that we may bear fruit: love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Life is not always easy, but with Jesus, we can persevere and still bear fruit through difficult times. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus says in John 15:4, “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.” </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Remember that Jesus is always with you. Jesus promises that we will bear fruit as we abide in Him, even during dry and trying times. You can fellowship with the One who is the source of rivers of living water.</span></p>
<p>The word &#8220;abide&#8221; means to <em>remain or to cling to. </em></p>
<p>So how do we abide in Christ? By choosing to <strong>cling to Him</strong> in our thoughts and actions. When circumstances tempt us to complain and pull away from Jesus, we must choose to remain in Jesus by encompassing all that He is such as being patient and kind.</p>
<p>To follow Jesus will require us to <strong>deny ourselves and carry up our cross</strong> (our willingness to die to our fleshly desires). Jesus says in Matthew 16:24, &#8220;<em>If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me</em>.&#8221;</p>
<p>If we want to abide in Jesus, we must deny our fleshly desires and choose to walk by the Spirit in our thoughts and actions.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Our natural instinct is to do things with our own strength and ability. This is why sometimes God lets us go through challenges and asks us to do things beyond what we can do to show us that it is <em><strong>through Christ</strong></em> that we can do all things. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Philippians 4:13 says, “<em>I can do all things<strong> through Christ who strengthens me</strong></em>.” In our weakness, we can still experience the grace and transformative power of Jesus as we choose to<em> yield to Jesus</em>. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">No matter the hardships you are going through, remember that God’s strength is available for you. As you abide in Jesus and choose to lay aside your worries and whatever is of the flesh, you will find His <strong>supernatural strength</strong>.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Make this your prayer: <strong><em>Jesus, help me to do nothing apart from You</em></strong>.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Remember that you are not alone and God is here to help you live a victorious life through Jesus. God says in Isaiah 41:10, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”</span></p>
<p>Jesus died on the cross and was resurrected so that we too can die in the bondage of sin and instead experience a life of freedom in Christ here on earth and for eternity.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We are called to live with God’s perspective and not our own. When we see from His perspective, we can believe in big things and have faith in the impossible. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ephesians 2:6 says, “and He raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus…” </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">When we accept Jesus as our Savior and abide in Him, we get to see from <strong>His perspective </strong>— a <em><strong>heavenly perspective</strong></em>. By the Holy Spirit, we have access to the mind of Christ (1 Cor. 2:16). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Let us not dwell on negative thoughts but instead ask the Holy Spirit to show us His perspective.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">May our knowledge of God through the Holy Spirit cause us to be kind, patient, thankful, gentle, long-suffering, faithful, and filled with self-control. Colossians 1:9-12 says, “<em>We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way:<strong> bearing fruit in every good work</strong>, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light</em>.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Let us not continue to live in our flesh, but rather walk by the Spirit that we may inherit eternal life with Jesus. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God has given us His Spirit to strengthen us and conform us to His image — the image of Jesus (Romans 8:29). All we need to do is yield to the Holy Spirit and we will see Him strengthen us. </span>So remember, <em><strong>abide in Christ</strong></em>.</p>
<p><b><i>Prayer:</i></b><i> Jesus, thank You for calming our minds and spirits when negative thoughts arise. May we always stay connected to you when life becomes too hard and always trust in Your ability. </i></p>

		<title>God&#8217;s Grace Is Enough</title>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God’s grace is enough to help us do what we cannot do in our strength. His power is made perfect in our weakness. We can rest in the Lord and see that <em>God’s grace is enough</em>. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">I was feeling stressed and questioning whether I could do everything that was at hand. I entertained negative and defeating thoughts that only made me feel stressed and afraid. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God reminded me of Philippians 4:8-9 which says, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As we look to Jesus and His Word, we are practicing what Philippians 4:8 says because Jesus is everything that is pure, true, right, and praiseworthy. </span></p>
<p>Instead of fixing my eyes on my worries, I found God&#8217;s grace and peace empowering me to do all that I needed to do as I fixed my eyes on Jesus and chose to think and speak pure and praiseworthy truths.</p>
<p><strong>God&#8217;s strength is enough when we are weak. </strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Instead of looking to your circumstances, <strong>look to Jesus and His promises. </strong>He is faithful and good. “For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations” (Psalm 100:5).</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We serve a supernatural God who is above our weaknesses and the natural. Before we say we can’t let us look to Jesus and <em><strong>His ability</strong></em> — not our ability. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">God says in 2 Corinthians 12:9, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God’s grace is enough to empower us to do what we cannot do and to produce what we cannot produce.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We must create a habit of <strong>looking at Jesus</strong> to produce a life of faith. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus <strong>is all </strong>that we need — He provides us safety, love, provision, satisfaction, wisdom, and strength like no other. </span>James 1:5 also reminds us that if we lack wisdom, we can ask God for wisdom who gives generously to all without finding fault.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God’s tangible care for us is found as we <strong>rest and abide in the Lord.</strong> The Holy Spirit will lead us to find Jesus in every area we are lacking in. If we need love, He will reveal God’s love for us. If we need strength, He will give us strength as we wait on Him. If we need provision, He will open the doors for provision to come as we align with His will.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God says in Ezekiel 34:11, “I myself will be their Shepherd. I will search for my sheep and take care of them.“</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A good shepherd takes care of their sheep and that is what Jesus does for us who believe in Him and walk in His ways. As the flock of Jesus, we have nothing to worry about on this earth and for eternity. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We can confidently say as His children, “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want” (Psalm 23:1). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We have no reason to doubt that God loves us. We have all we need in Him because God has already given us the greatest gift He could ever give — <em><strong>His only begotten Son Jesus. </strong></em> </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Romans 8:31-32 says, “What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?“</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Imagine someone willing to give you their only child to die in place of your wrongdoing. There’s no greater love than sacrificing what you love most and that is what God did for us. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Romans 5:8 says, “But God demonstrates his love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Though we were sinners, God sent Jesus to die for us so that we may be saved if we believe in Jesus. Because God has already proven His love to us, let us not doubt His love but instead <strong>rest in the Lord and His love. </strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">When worry arises, trust that God is for you and will provide all you need. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Negative thoughts will come, but we must have a habit of <em><strong>filtering out negative thoughts by looking to Jesus. </strong></em></span></p>
<p><em><span style="font-weight: 400;">Will you create a habit of looking to Jesus and thinking pure and praiseworthy thoughts? </span></em></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We will find our minds filled with God’s peace as we look to Jesus and meditate on His Word in the Bible. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>God commands us to not worry</strong>, so when worry comes, ask the Holy Spirit to show you <em><strong>God&#8217;s perspective</strong></em>. The Holy Spirit will also remind and lead you to specific verses to help you see God rightly so you do not worry. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Let your weaknesses draw you to <strong>seek Jesus.</strong> His power is made perfect in our weaknesses (2 Cor. 12:9). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There is only one who can meet our every need and deliver us from sin and<em> that is Jesus</em>. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God will perfect every area of your life that concerns you by His mercy. Psalm 138:8 says, “The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.&#8221; Don’t spend another day in worry, but instead cast your cares unto Jesus and know He cares about you (1 Peter 5:7).</span></p>
<p>God is here to help you. He is with you and goes before you. So remember, <strong>God&#8217;s grace is enough.</strong></p>
<p><b><i>Prayer:</i></b><i> <span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus, help me to stay calm when troubles and problems arise. May I never forget that You are capable of solving every problem that may arise. Your grace and power are enough to overcome any situation I face. </span></i></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Do we love God with our heart, soul, and mind in all we do? Loving Jesus must be the vision of our lives. <em>Love God</em>.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">I used to think I could love Jesus but disregard His feelings and commands in the Bible, but I later found that loving Jesus looks like something and that is obeying God&#8217;s Word. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus makes it clear in the Bible that if we truly love Him, we will obey His commands. Jesus says in John 14:15, “If you love me, obey my commands.”</span></p>
<p>I wanted to love Jesus as I saw how much He loved me and saved me though I didn&#8217;t deserve His love and forgiveness. May we also remember God&#8217;s great love for us so that we may love Him back as He deserves.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The first thing we must ask ourselves before doing anything is: <em>Am I loving Jesus with all my heart, soul, and mind in what I am about to do?</em> </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus’s <strong>first</strong> and <strong>greatest</strong> commandment to us is to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 22:37-38). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is not only the greatest commandment, but also the <strong>first commandment</strong> for us to do. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Let’s be quick to allow the Holy Spirit to examine our hearts and motives so that we may walk in a blameless way that pleases God. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">If there is anything in our hearts that is not pure, we can confess it to Jesus and invite Him to create in us a pure heart. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">1 John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Our willingness to <strong>obey God and submit our lives to Him </strong>is the evidence that we love God. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We can say and do the right thing, but if it’s not said or done in love, it <strong>produces nothing</strong>. I Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭1‬-‭3‬ ‭says, “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.“</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God is love, so we must speak and do things in <em><strong>truth and love</strong></em> that others may see God and for our actions to produce fruit that will last for eternity.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Before you say, post, or do anything, ask yourself:<em> Am I doing this with a heart of love? </em></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus says in John 13:35, “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">This doesn’t mean we can’t confront or correct people, but we must do it <strong>all in love</strong>.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The ability to love Jesus with all our heart, soul, and mind is a sign we are completely free by the<strong> </strong><strong>love of Jesus</strong>. When we are bound by sin such as pain, fear, or lust, we do not have the ability to love Jesus, but His love <em><strong>perfects us</strong></em> so that we can love Him back. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">1 John 4:18-19 says, “But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. We love because he first loved us.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God’s love has the ability<strong> to perfect us</strong>. We can love God because He first loved us by giving Jesus, His only begotten Son to die for us that we may have eternal life if we believe in Jesus. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Let us always look to the cross and remember how greatly loved we are by God. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">When we lose sight of Jesus and His holiness, we will go astray and not follow His commands. Let us make our vision to <strong>love Jesus with all our heart, soul, and mind.</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A life outside of God’s Word is a life that will perish. Proverbs 29:18 says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” Only <em><strong>in Jesus</strong></em> can we find an abundant life and eternal life. May we continue to prioritize living out the greatest commandment. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus says in John 15:10, “If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.” Let us abide in God’s love by obeying His commands. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There’s no better place than abiding in God’s love. It is in Jesus that we will find a blessed life here on earth and for eternity. </span>So remember, <strong>love God.</strong></p>
<p><b><i>Prayer:</i></b><i> <span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus, help me to keep myself in your love by abiding in your ways and remembering your love and mercy for me. May I never take your love for granted and obey You at all times and keeping your greatest commandment. </span></i></p>

		<title>Knowing The Depths of God&#8217;s Love</title>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There are depths to knowing how much God loves you. We become filled with the fullness of God as we know the <em>depths of God’s love for us</em>.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">While being loved by our family, friends, boyfriend/girlfriend or spouse is amazing, their love can never be compared to God’s love. People will fail you, but <strong>God&#8217;s love will never fail you.</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God is love and He is perfect (Psalm 18:30). </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Only God’s love can sustain us through the hardships of life. We were made to thrive in God’s love and His love is enough for us to find refuge and satisfaction. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Psalm 26:7 says, “How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Whether you are single or not, know that you can still be filled with <em><strong>a love like no other </strong></em>through Jesus. You are loved by God. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">When we are lacking in love, that is our cue to run to Jesus and ask Him to give us a greater revelation of the depths of His love for us in the Bible. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">We must <strong>be rooted and established </strong>in God’s love that we may be able to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that we may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19).</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God’s love <strong>is enough</strong> to satisfy us and make us glad all our days. Jesus invites us to know His love and we find His love as we <em><strong>take time</strong> </em>to seek Him in the Bible and in our alone times with Him. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus promises in Jeremiah 29:13, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There is a love that will never fail us and that is God’s love. God loves you and proved His love for you by sending Jesus to die for you so that those who believe in Him would not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus rose from the grave and has given those who accept Him His Spirit who will also raise them up from the grave (Romans 8:11). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Instead of looking for lesser lovers, look to the One who is love and whose love for you <em><strong>will last forever</strong></em>. <b>God <em>so</em> loves you. </b>The enemy will tempt us to look elsewhere for satisfaction, but we must always remember that only Jesus can satisfy the depths of our hearts. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus loved us even when we didn’t love Him. He loved us <strong>first </strong>(1 John 4:19). When Jesus came to earth as a man, many did not receive Him, and many still don’t receive Him today. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">John 1:11 says, “He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus made all of us so He sees us as His own, but sin separated us from God. Jesus knew the only way to have us back was for Him to come as a man and die for us. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Jesus is still pursuing us today and every day because He loves us.</strong> He is our bridegroom and like any bridegroom, He pursues the bride. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Revelation 19:7 gives us a glimpse of what is to come for those who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior by faith: “…For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><em><strong>Are you aware of how much God loves you? </strong></em></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Every day you are invited to know how much God loves you. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">No matter where you are, your soul and spirit can feast in abundance with Jesus if you open the door for Jesus to come into your heart.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus is always knocking, yearning for deep intimacy with us. <em><strong>Are our hearts constantly open for Jesus to dwell in us?</strong></em><br />
</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">If we want to be true followers of Jesus that are hot and not lukewarm, we will need to <strong>abide in Jesus</strong> daily and throughout the day. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">It is in our intimate times with Jesus and in His Word that we find the depths of God’s love for us.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">What great news to know that NOTHING can separate us from God&#8217;s love that is in Jesus. We were all born into sin, separated from God’s love, but God sent Jesus, the spotless One, to die for us so that we may be cleansed and freed from sin. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Now NOTHING can separate those who believe and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior from God’s love — not death, not the hardships of life, not the principalities or powers, or anything in all creation. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God’s love is <strong>so deep</strong> to always fill us through the valley and hills for eternity. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Romans 8:38-39 says, “…neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Through Jesus, we get to live in the love of God <em><strong>now and forever. </strong></em></span>So remember, take time to <strong>know the depths of God&#8217;s love.  </strong></p>
<p><b><i>Prayer:</i></b><i> Jesus, thank you for Your love. We are so grateful that Your love that never fails and is so genuine. Thank you for loving us and dying for us even when we were not deserving of it. </i></p>

		<title>Rely On God’s Strength</title>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We were not made to rely on our own strength. We must rely on God’s strength to love Him and others well, and to accomplish His assignments for us.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Recently, I was feeling burned out and dry. I had no compassion to show love to my husband and lost joy in the things I was doing.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">I asked Jesus why I was feeling this way. He made it clear and took me to Isaiah 40:31 which says, “But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">I realized that I have not taken enough time to wait on the Lord to fill me with His strength to love and find life. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">God makes it clear in Isaiah 40 that He will show up to those who wait on Him with expectancy and fill them with strength to mount up with wings like eagles.</span></p>
<p><em><strong>We were not meant to do life in our own strength, but to soar through life by the power of the Holy Spirit.</strong></em></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We receive God’s supernatural strength as we <strong>wait on the Lord</strong> with expectancy to speak and touch us with His grace. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Verse 31 makes it clear that those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. God’s strength comes as we wait upon Him with the expectation that He will show up and restore our broken and weary souls. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">God doesn’t want us to rely on our own strength, but to rely on His strength and power which we receive by <em><strong>His grace. </strong></em> </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Paul says in 2 Cor. 12:9, “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">When we are feeling weak or incapable of doing the task at hand, we must look to Jesus and ask Him to give us His grace strength, and power to do what we need to do. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">If we don’t feel like we can love, forgive, be patient, etc., we can look to Jesus and ask Him to fill us with His power to love well. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Don’t settle for only knowing what is the right thing to do, but let your weaknesses propel you to <strong>seek Jesus </strong>to fill you with His power. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">When we are feeling overwhelmed and weak, that is our sign to go to Jesus and let Him fill us with His strength and power. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Many times we push on and rely on our knowledge of God yet we are not seeking and waiting on God to strengthen us. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><em>Burnout happens when we do things outside of God’s will or without Him.</em> </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">I’ve had times when I have fallen into burnout because I was doing things without God, meaning I was not spending enough alone time with Jesus, and nstead of worshipping Him throughout the day, I would spend most of the day complaining.</span></p>
<p><em><strong>Will you spend time waiting on God and seek Him to speak life and guide you into what you need in the Bible?</strong></em></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It’s not enough to rely on past knowledge of what God has spoken or what someone has said — we need His <em><strong>present</strong></em> Word and touch every day. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jesus tells us to pray, “Give us today our daily bread” (Matthew 6:11). Jesus is our daily bread that we must take of every day.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Relying on God also means trusting Him <em><strong>even when we don&#8217;t understand </strong></em>how the good will come out of our circumstances. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">We can only submit to God and see Him make a way in our road bumps by first trusting Him with all our hearts. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”</span></p>
<p><em><strong>Will you let go of every worry and trust in the goodness and power of God?</strong></em></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Direction and open doors come as we trust God and rely on Him. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Our weaknesses make room for us to receive <strong>God&#8217;s power and strength</strong> if we look to Him and ask Him. </span>So remember, <strong>rely on God&#8217;s strength. </strong></p>
<p><b><i>Prayer:</i></b><i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Jesus, thank you for being our strength. We are grateful that in our weak moments, we can rely on You. Thanks for never disappointing us and always keeping Your word. </span></i></p>
