You never have to lose hope because Jesus is praying for you. He is seated on the right hand of God, interceding for you (Romans 8:34).
In the midst of our struggles, we can easily feel weak and give up. It’s in those moments when we want to give up that we must remember that Jesus is praying for us. His grace is available to strengthen our very weaknesses.
Hebrews 4:14-16 says, “Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we areโyet he did not sin. Let us then approach Godโs throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.โ
We have the King of Kings and Lord of Lords as our high priest. A high priests duty in the Old Testament was to be a mediator between man and God. Jesus has now become our high priest forever. He makes us have right standing before God and empowers us to do His will.
There is nothing that we cannot do without Jesus.
Don’t believe whatever lies the enemy may be telling you that contradicts this truth. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13).
In Christ, we receive God’s full blessings of salvation and every spiritual and physical blessing He longs to give us. When we unite with Jesus in His death, we will also ๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐ข๐ฌ ๐ฏ๐ข๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ (Romans 6:5). Jesus died to break the power of sin off our lives so that we can be ๐ฏ๐ข๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ. As we choose to die to our old self, we will ๐๐๐๐ in our new self that is in Jesus Christ. Romans 6:11 says, “…count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.”
You were created to live victoriously in Christ, not being a slave to sin but to righteousness. Itโs possible to not give in to lust, anger, anxiety, and other emotions that are not of Christ. We just need to die to our flesh and walk according to the Holy Spirit.
What weaknesses are you facing today? Will you run to Jesus and ask Him to strengthen you?
His grace is ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ for you today. Ephesians 3:20 says, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.“
His power is at work within you as you give your life to Jesus. He is praying for you to live out God’s perfect and good will for your life. So remember, Jesus is praying for you.
